Its true! I did make snap judgments about your club assuming it would be as ass-annoying as most other clubs I've encountered...
And as far as my comment being the same on most of the clubs... I may have copy/pasted it a few times >_> but only because the clubs were getting so repetative, i decided i didnt wanna type new things for each one... concidering i was typing the same point, anyways...
But yeah, dont mind me... My friends tell me that i just randomly pick things to hate sometimes... Just kick me

I agree; this is probably one of the best clubs I've seen here on DA. Seldom do I see a group with such dedicated leaders and members who actually care about the group rather than just be a part of it.
I also think a website would be an excellent idea. Agent sae, if you need any help with the layout design I'd be glad to assist. And a message board would be great in my opinion.
About the Gary Oldman thing: That's kinda freaky if you ask me. I hate to sound harsh, but not only is he a terrible actor, he was obviously wrong about the movie, too. It's ironic that he turned down the script because he thought it wouldn't do well.

Here's a fun and, quite frankly, somewhat disturbing fact.
When the Wachowski's were casting the part of Agent Smith, Hugo Weaving (known for his performances in Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Reckless Kelly and countless other films) was not their first choice. The actor who was first offered the role was none other than Gary Oldman, who turned it down based on not wanting to learn the martial arts required for the part and believing the film would be too 'far out' to appeal to a wide audience.
The rest, as they say, is history... Though I'm sure I'm not the only one who has to admit, however grudgingly, that Gary Oldman would have made an excellent Smith.

I was kinda put off by his comment on us actually. I had seen it so many times before and quite frankly I thought maybe he'd be able to use some variety... but alas, I was wrong.
Sad thing too because he's commented on my work before and I really really value his opinion because he has such good views of things.
I too was wondering when we'd be hit by a hater. I feel this club is different than most club DA has though. And i'm damn proud of it. Saepenon and I have really put all we can into this one and i'm glad to see that our members enjoy it.

Any who thanks to all those who support the club. Agent Lee and I have been working hard to produce a quality place for you folks to disscuss and share stuff relating to the agents. Speaking of which I am currently working on a site for us (yes Im actually working on it, it's not just an idea in my head any more). With any luck it will also feature a message board!

Calling all artists!
I'm starting a new project called The Animatrix: The Phileas Archives, which is a collection of stories and images set around the Real World and the Matrix, across the globe. I'm putting 'Format' into it, and I'd love it if there are other artists who want to submit stuff to it!

I've got ideas for a couple of stories if you're not sure exactly what to do:
~ The fall of the last European human city (Paris)
~ An Amazonian tribe whose religious markings are almost identical to the Real World's plugs
And of course, you can do your own stories - you can use characters from the Matrix movies and games, your own characters, or ones made up purely for the stories.

The stories are, of course, illustrated, so... illustrate! They can be pictures to go with the text or they can simply be 'archived images' which will go into a gallery page on the site. The images can be created in any way in any style, although there is a restriction on size for images within stories (H300xW450) I think the way that illustrating-within-stories would work is that you should note me if you want to do that, and when I get the stories in I can send the scripts out. I figure as well, depending on length, there can be about 3 illustrations per story so the same script will be sent out to multiple people. And if you want to submit more than one piece of work, that's fine!
When I get the site up, full credits and links will be given to everyone who participates, so get busy and note me about what you wanna do (title the note 'Phileas Archives')!
