Hello Wingsofgrace!

I have a questions for you. This is Pompilot (Linda), founder of Desert-Photographers. You sent a request to join our group. I would love to have you here. You have great desert photo. My question is, are you really interested in joining as an Administrator? It just so happens we are looking for one and I want to make sure that is really your intentions. Oh! I didn't realise what I was doing when I sent the message - it said join our group and I tried to send it to members, but it wouldn't let me. So I hit the next option - admin - to get it to go through. I'm sorry for the confusion! I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to joining groups on DA - I'm only in a couple even though I've been a deviant for ages. I keep wanting it to work like it does on Flickr. But to answer your question, I think I'd like to be a member for awhile before I dive into administrator.
