Actually I did. I do agree with the fast pace of it... least in the battles. I don't like that about movies now a days, I actually would like to see the blows made. Even though it was slowed at times n all.. I still think it was a good movie. I think it's a shame though for people who wanna see it but have never played the game. They would be so lost. I haven't played much of the game myself, though I've known the characters for a long time and always loved em even without havin played. I plan on going back to play it and then watchin the movie again to have more of the complete story.

Yeh, I played the game a long time ago, and only part of (it belonged to a friend of mine), and so this summer I bought it for myself.
I really liked the action sequences, but like you said, the blows would've been cool to see. I guess the plot itself was just rushed a little. It seemed to span over the course of about twelve hours...and I guess it didn't soak in enough for me. Maybe that's just me though, I tend to be a relatively harsh critic. I guess I'm just a meanie but it was cool to see all the charaters of course...zu to, man, zu to.

I doubt ur a meanie.. Though I don't think you could call it completely "rushed" with graphics like that, I'm sure it took a lot of time. Though they will have a game which takes place some yrs after Advent Children, the main character being Vincent, so maybe there will be more in that. Though yea, the movie did seem rather short and I wished it to be longer. Imma CloudxTifa person and I wanted to see em actually hook up for one >< lol

Oh man! I totally didn't mean rushed as in the making of the movie or anything. I meant rushed as in the plot itself. The story seemed to have wayyy too much in it to take place over the span of, what, twelve hours? Haha, that's what it seemed like to me!

Everything else fit seeing as the three were so desperate to find Jenova.. but I dunno x.x;

Exactly my point! I thought the battles and stuff would happen over a longer period of time, or maybe they'd prepare for them, or something. But it all seemed to go so fast, like they knew immediately what was happening and stuff.

Well, there perhaps wasn't much need to actually "prepare" due to the fact that Cloud had "beaten" Sephiroth before... I think the only thing he needed to get over was the fear of not being able to protect anyone, and therefore making him isolated from the others. I feel that was the main focus of the movie.

Like I said, the plot was fine for me. I liked the movie, I liked everything.
I just thought that Cloud, Tifa, whatever kids were spared, the town, his friends, etc. all needed a wee bit more time to prepare for the SHM's attack and all. Like, get in contact with the other guys (Barret, Vincent, Cid, Yuffie, Red XVIII, blah blah blah) so they're not all popping up out of nowhere...which was cool, in a way, but...yeah, I think it might have done some good to explain how they ended up where they did...
