wow thats a long way to go for a course your not sure about! (just read your journal) i feel im in the same situation too, im in my second year at uni in London but im thinking "what have i actually learnt, and the answer is, not much really" ugh. but hey early days yet, the first year doesnt even count towards your degree wooo theres a incentive to work! all ive heard is that its the third and second year that change and the third year is really envolved. maybe it'll be the same for you. have you asked your tutors about it?
great gallery by the way have you heard of annecy.com? its a really great site that shows the animations of students that were in the british film festival. you probably do know!

yeah, i'm feeling a long way from home at the moment! which uni are you going to?
i've spoken to my teachers, and i'm going to give the first semester of next year a go and see if the pace has stepped up a bit, and see what i think then.

I'm at a fairly new campus in docklands in London, infact the course I'm on didn't exist when i started, it was called something else!. not the immediate choice of mine as i would prefer to go somewhere aesthetically better,but thats not everthing just my wanting to go somewhere like hogwarts hehe XD but my philosophy is that every great uni and great course has to start somewhere!
plus the tutors are great and the work is really good. anyway i send you christmas cheer from merry england! tata!
