Favorite games: Kingdom Hearts series (did anyone else fangasim when they got their copy in the mail?), Pokemon (Alpha Sapphire got me back into it), Skyrim, Five Nights at Freddy's (1 & 2)
Favorite gaming platform: I really like the Playstation series (go Sony!) but I've been loyal to (most) of Nintendo's hand consoles

Well, yes, but absolutely no money was spent on it on my family's part. Dad had a work party going on at the time and there was a raffle. He just happened to have the exact right raffle ticket and won it. He didn't want it so he just gave it to me.

As soon as it comes out I'm thinking about it. I'd like it if the previous two games could get ported over as well (have some fond memories) buuut I don't really see that happening. And as for Elder Scrolls Online, sorry to say I saw that coming a mile away when more facts came out about it before its release. Honestly, it's no wonder the game sucked; Bethesda didn't even develop it. While their name is on it, Zenimax made it and it shows. In their partnered history, Zenimax was known as the greedy other between it and Bethesda, doing most of the stuff that involved making the players pay more for the game. Don't worry though, kiddo, I heard rumors that Elder Scrolls 6 (this time made by Bethesda) is in the works. Apparently it's gonna be set in the Black Marshes (the nation of the Argonians) and we should hear more about it in 2016.Β

Ooh, I'm excited for that, especially since ESO was a huge disappointment...I wanna visit Elsweyr (Khakjit homeland) in a future game, though.

Well you could in the very first game from way back in 1994. Problem is that all of the areas in that game were randomly generated, so it essentially looked like all the rest of Tamriel. If they were to make another game, I would say it would be in the NEXT five years (that seems to be the main theme for the game schedule thus far). And sorry to say, but I think Elsweyre has a 1/4 chance to be the hub of the game after. So far they've covered Hammerfell (Redguards) and High Rock (Bretons) in Daggerfall, Morrowind (Dark Elves) in, well, Morrowind, Cyrodiil (Imperials) in Oblivion, Skyrim (Nords) in Skyrim, and the Black Marsh (Argonians) in the next game if the rumors are true. Moreso, however, I want to see how the story with the Thalmor concludes. They're essentially the Nazis of Tamriel and I wanna see if they get taken down or not. I also want to see the progression from Morrowind and Oblivion brought back in the guilds. In those games you actually worked your way up through the ranks, from the lowest rank to the leader. And finally....out of the five races left over, I'd say I want to see the orc's mountainous province. Seems like a good place to fight dragons. If not for the unused races, I'd like a return to Hammerfell or High Rock for the Bretons (since I'm usually a magic-based character).
Aside from the next Elder Scrolls game, I'm also excited for Fallout 4 (if it ever gets more details out). Not sure if you've ever tried Fallout, but it's essentially Elder scrolls set in a post-apocalyptic world....hell, Bethesda develops both franchises. And they've been teasing us with 4 for years now. I'd say I would also like to try that Order: 1886 game....or I wanted to until I heard it was going to be a third-person shooter. Sorry, but taking a look at the premise of the game, a TPS was the LAST Β thing I'd expect from it. And while that genre is alright, the only two really good ones that pop into my head are Gears of War and Mass Effect. Nothing else really seems to match it, though I could be wrong in this case.Β
Lastly, I'm looking forward to Bloodborne. I've been looking forward to it ever since I heard that FromSoftware (the developers of Dark Souls) said they were making it. Not sure if you've tried it, but if you haven't, you have GOT to at least take a shot at Dark Souls for once. The difficulty of the game is pretty high, but it is an awesome ride in a very beautifully-designed world (in my opinion). Bloodborne looks like it will have the same experience as what I got from Dark Souls.Β

I'll have to check it out. We're about to score an Xbox 360 next week (as long as I could buy Skyrim for it, I'm happy), so I might see if it's on the Xbox.
BTW, I downladed Steam the other night because I realized how much I wanted to play Garry's Mod, and I might even get Skyrim...but I'm not sure if my computer would be able to run it. So if you still have Portal 2, I wouldn't mind having it and using it as a test run for my computer.

Yeah, Skyrim runs alright on the xbox so you should be good. As for PC.....I dunno. What was the price range for your lap top? Mine was around $400, so if it's around that area, Skyrim will definitely play but it would be a laggy experience.Β
