Sorry for the overly long response. I looked back after I'd finished and saw what I did.

Well I'm a semester behind with school because a proffessor accussed me of plagerism, even though I was innocent, and failed me. I was able to fight it so that I could keep my financial aid, but I had to sit out an entire semester from school. But it's okay, it just meant that I had to play a little catch up is all. And I'm getting involved with a program that will take care of my student debt, proived I teach in an impoverished area for a certain amount of time. Of course that's only if I get accepted. And I'm write now
I am the closest I've been to finishing a book that I have ever been.

Oh, it is fine, I like it when people thoroughly answer me.

You know you can press charges on the professor if you were innocent. To the academic board or something like that...I think you should get compensated for the whole semester you had to miss.

I am a semester behind because BHS kind of screwed me over right before I graduated, found out I could have had more time on my ACT because of my Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis and my IEP. I only had the IEP for a month but it would have helped me a lot with college because I was now having to go through intermediate algebra which is the same exact thing as all the algebra classes I took and passed with As in BHS. It was a waste of time.

You get to teach?! You know how great that would be for your resume?

I heard of some place you can go to where you can volunteer to pay off your debt. I am thinking about doing that but if you can teach I think I would rather do that instead.

Well that's both a relief and a nice change of pace. Lately most people I talk too want me to be succinct.

I'd thought about it, but I decided against it. I had my name cleared and that's all that matters to me.

Sorry about that. I'm sure it will work out for the best. I'd offer some advice but from the sound of it you have a better handle on the situation then I do, so the most I can do is offer sympathy.

I know, and I love the idea. I want to be a teacher anyway, so this is perfect for me. I also like the idea of seeing the world, though I'm pretty sure that I'll most likely end up teaching in some poor areas of the U.S. That was  let down I can assure you, I'd had it built up that I'd go somehwere like Africa to teach.

I'd considered joining the Navy for help, but in the end I was talked out of it. A friend of mine told me that the Navy only does that for people who have selected careers that the Navy finds useful.

Hmmm, well you will be surprised on how HORRIBLE some conditions are in our own country.

Oh dear. Yeah, that goes for all military branches I believe...well, besides the Army MAYBE.

Navy and Air Force like to take in science and engineering majors.

Anyone has a much better change of getting into the Air Force than the Navy anyway.
You have to be in tip top physical, mental, and intellectual shape to get through the Navy.

Yes, that's what my uncle said. But he put it much harsher by saying that even if I found a branch of the servive that would pay for school, there is no guarantee that they would help me. They'd help somebody, but not necessarilly me.

Yes I know. Truth be told I'd almost considered joining the Navy anyway. I just kind of gave up on the idea is all.


You're right, I looked into it when I was considering signing up. From what I can see, I qualify in too capacities and fail in the third. Plus I have a tattoo on my hand and that is an instant disqualification.

I don't know about other branches but Air Force would help pretty much everyone.
They kind of screwed my sister over though, instead of being in the service for just a few years, she was stuck in there for a little over a decade.

Still, despite it being the twenty-first century there is still some controversy with professionals with tattoos. Considering you will become a teacher, expect some old punks to question your performance. -__-

Thought Creative-Punk was a cool username when I was 14 and I don't consider it cool anymore. I am older and a bit wiser, I am no longer a "punk".

I had a proffessor who had tattoos like that. I don't care very much, my results will be too good for them to question. Besides I can always cover it up with a ring.
