Well.. Right now.. I'm in my.. last vacations.. and I was thinking about taking a photography course (I think i spelled it right.. well u got the idea).. and! well.... I really hate the crappy photos I get when I try to macroo or to take a picture.. And I really want to picture just what I see.. that is the main reason why I want to buy it... ^^

I already took a look at the prices.. and well.. I'm not gonna say it's cheap.. but I have my savings
^^ soo well.. I was thinking about buying theee Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi (aww I sound so cute saying it.. when I dont have an ideaa of what any of it means) but wll.. I compared to other cams like Sony Alpha.. and Nikon D60.. and I think it's a better choice.

Soo... well.. I still have time to think it through but I think Im not backing up on this one!

Ah, I see lol. Well it looks as if you will be a great doctor already! I am taking a collage level Biology class next year, but that is it!

Now as for the camera. I guess I should start off with the name. The appropriate name for the camera that you are looking for is a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex). This sets it apart from its film based SLR counterparts.

Now the special thing about these cameras, the reason people want them, is the fact that what you see through the view finder on them is exactly what your taking a picture of. Other cameras don't give you that "live view" that the slr cameras give you. A negative to that is (unless you are looking at a high end model) most of these cameras don't allow you to look at the screen/menu to take the picture, you HAVE TO look through the view finder in order to see what you are taking a picture of.

Now the slr camera is kinda a double edged sword. You can get some amazing pictures, but it really depends on a few things.

1.) Do you want to learn about how to really use a camera's settings?

I see you have composition down flat, but when you get into using these nice expensive cameras, you will really want to know things such as f/stop, shutter speed, and ISO.

2.) Do you have the money to buy what you want to do.

Most DSLR cameras now come with an 18-55mm lens. You want to make sure if this is alright with you. You see the camera that you have right now might be able to zoom much farther, and that 55mm might seem like a very small amount of distance. This might prompt you to buy another lens, and end up costing you 200-300 dollars (Yeah convert it)

Another thing, most dslr cameras cost....well a lot. (see sites below)

To tell you the truth, its my Spanish teacher that grew up there. Lets just say its not my easiest class. Actually I am JUST passing with I think (hoping actually) a C

Yeah, it's neat your 16 too. And don't worry about experience. I have only been into photography for about a year and a half. You will learn quick if you try .

I see you want to go to medical school. I actually want into the medical field too! Although it looks as though it will be along road ahead if thats what we are going to do!

yeah... but now med school looks pretty impossible to me... in the way that studying med here where I live.. there is just one college and there r like 100 students to get in from 12000 ppl who apply.. so im hoping to study in another country ^^
