I was drawing Rosyl with the intent of cheering myself up a little, and by the time I had finished her expression, I was shocked at how terrified she looked, at least to me. Funny how that happens hm? Wasn't planning that sort of drawing so it popped up in my face and a couldn't believe it.

I had an idea for a character that lived deep in an underground fresh water well system ( more like, bound to it for all eternity as its guardian.). His water creature from is still a work in progress, but he has been sorely lacking in character development. As in, I know how he looks, just no freakin' clue what his story is. Despite that, I would love to RP with him. Are you interested? The world it's in is like this...Well, it's a very pretty world, wide fields with some towns with fountains and livestock, there is some tech, but it's mostly inventions and cooky contraptions....You know what I mean? It's like....LoZ but more fantasy? Eh, hopefully I can explain better in the RP. Magic exists, witches and warlocks are excepted, however there is a secret order that monitors them and all magical activity, but they are hardly seen and not much is known of them. Mostly because they look like the average person. (Though they do have cool leather outfits when they go to terminate a magical entity or object deemed to dangerous)
If we started this, I would say Qunik would be blamed for a series of murders in the country side, and possible cattle and live stock mutilations. Is he guilty? Or is it something far more sinister...?

No it sounds like a great idea. I'm thinking my character could be a street girl who gets in a lot of trouble, but she is secretly part of the order, but more seperated from them. She does all her missions solo, and if she is partnered with someone she just leaves them behind. And I like the idea of the landscape it sounds beautiful, and I remember LoZ, I played one of those games once, and I really liked it. I believe the game was twilight princess too, and I do remember playing one of there even older games. Umm anyways, I was thinking that she is a witch, and that she is a mastery at transformation spells. Sorry, I'm a crazy for shapeshifting and things like that, it's the power I really want if magic was real.

well, if she isn't a born shifter, keep in mind when she turns into an animal, her body itself does not change. If she is wearing clothes when she changes, she will come back from that form in clothing. Born shifters change their actual body, causing the skin to literally peal from the body and rearrange itself to look like the desired animal. Learning the skill is almost like a space and form manipulation spell, making the animal she would take the form of to be "human" sized, (like, if she wanted to be a house cat, she would just be a very BIG cat XD) whilst shifters can turn into the size according to animal. Not to mention, for her the shift would be much faster, and with little to no pain in the process. If she is highly skilled, like, a serious prodigy, taking the form of dragons or other humans, could be an option. There can be lots of interpretations for the word "shifter". However, delving into the dark arts is pretty much the only way one can manipulate the body to change into any form they please (like completely new and unheard of forms to suit ones needs). This magic is banned of course, but some hidden cults still exist.Β Β

No she's not a born shifter, but when she was young she was always fascinated by the way magic could change someones body. At first she delved into hallucinations, before she finally got the transformation magic down. She is able to change her body to an appropriate sized animal, but can only be in that form for about an hour before she has to take a break and regenerate that magic. She is able to change into a few animals, and has been able to physically change her body which is what she uses most of the time, and has only once changed herself into a dragon which took a lot of energy out of her. Gosh now I'm getting excited for this, I'm going to have to start drawing her right away.

I would imagine more magic would be required to appear small, so regeneration for the magic makes sense. But in the world, a shifter that is not borne a shifter, cannot physically change the body, no matter how much they study it, I'm sorry to say. If you really want her to physically change and truly become the animal, you would have to choose. There is a certain way magic is governed in this place Shifting, and using magic to shift, are two very different things. (Unless one is cursed to become and animal for a certain amount of time, that is the only possible way one not of the shifter blood could achieve the forms physically)
BUT
the possabilty stands that could make what you just told me about her abilities work. She could have a gene that skipped a generation, making her have some shifter blood in her. Given, a shifter mating with a human is taboo and considered shameful, depending on if it's her parents, grand parents, people will never forget that and some will turn there nose up at people like that, or "half-breeds", even if they show no signs of the blood. So if she has that blood in her from a distant relative, or even intimidate family, it could give her magic and study that extra umph, making some forms easier to maintain then others, even becoming the real thing in some cases.
Qunik is a sub-type of shifter. Given, he is more of a mythical entity that's been guarding the place for centuries who can't die, his body physically changes from man to dragon, but those are the only two forms he can take, not counting that he can take on dragon traits when he is a person. He can't turn into anything else. Still, he has weaknesses, which will come to light later. He may be immortal, but he wasn't meant to last forever. Β

Hmm, thanks I actually like that idea, and no it's okay I understand how this world is beginning to work now. So I'm thinking that her mother had an affair with a shifter she had fallen in love with, but never told her husband or daughter about it. They all believed that she was the husbands daughter, and that her gift with shifting magic was something new that was beginning to take form. It wasn't until she transformed in a dragon that one time, that they found out the truth and her father left her mother, who in turn left her with all the prosecutions being made toward the two of them. Eventually she found a way to take care of herself, and found herself a part of that counsel, easily hiding the half part of what she really is. How does that sound?

oh I was walking around a few days ago and since it's so snowy, I thought of Gelu a lot. (So much snow and it smells really nice.) Though I am very thin and by a half hour outside I tend to be a human Popsicle. Which if funny because it's always cold here unless it's summer and then it's just hot everywhere. Autumn, Winter and Spring (holy crap the beginning of spring is so cold) are chilly and then BAM. Summer. 100 degrees. On the stream? Well I will send you a link, and it will connect you to my screen. You will be watching everything I do on my own screen. There is also a chat bubble on the top of the screen, and you can click on that and a talking window will pop up, and you can talk to me and everyone else in the stream X3 If you exit out of the window, you will dissconect, but if you minimize it to do something else on your own computer, it will not effect me at all. It's just a live feed of what I'm doing on my computer (which will be digital art). My art can take a long time, so if you have something to do and have to leave, it's OK with me, my streams get really long sometimes. I will mostly be venting to my Tumblr friends most of the time in the chat bubble, I need to blow off some steam about a troll on Tumblr

Eater preferably. I mean that attention whore cutie pie is probably the one with the most personality. Quiet and Illusion can definitely be there if you like, they're just a bit hard to connect to. Also what setting? And maybe Gelu or Ater. Is Eater a male or female to you? I don't have an assigned one for it, or for Quiet and Illusion. When I RP with them, you get to decide what gender. I RP both, and their personalities don't change, but it's just how you imagine them.
Also is this a Journey setting or what setting would you like?

It depends on which Gelu/Ater you want. Human Gelu and Ater really only exist in my head, but if you wanted their cloth versions, it would have to be in the desert, or we could mash it up and have Ater/Gelu as humans in a set setting that meets in the middle. Humans couldn't survive in the Journey world XD Plus, The canon I follow now (WayfarerChirp's canon) is very different from the one I had when we RPd a year or so ago.
So, if you wanted it to take place in Journey, the cloth versions of Gelu and Ater are sightly different. Of course, Ater is like a vampire (a scarf-eater) of the Journey world....So as a person, he is a vampire. Gelu has ice abilites she hardly ever uses, and is less quirky, can't play the piano (obviously, because instruments don't exist), so asΒ human, she is an ice sorceress who's powers are slightly out of control (she plays piano to meditate and calm herself down) Ater as a person (or rather, a Vampire) is far more out of control then Gelu, in terms of temper and hunger. So, he is overall distant and cold, as to avoid corrupting too much.
Of course, I would like the RP to build history for us in our worlds, but if you choose the cloth versions, it will make no difference....Me using them as their cloth selves just means they will have a vivid dream, and remember it when they wake up.

Honestly I'd like their human selves, Eater likes being human. Loves being like me. Kind of cute but I can't decide. XD
Eater as a human is basically a child, though he is quite smart. (I'll start using male pronouns for him now.) He doesn't open his mouth, though he can talk, like his mouth opens. No mind speaking. His mind is too wild and crazy for that. Once he becomes fond of someone, Eater is extremely loyal, though is quite offended easily. And can become lonely easily as well. Nice to have for company, but unstable around the mention of certain things. There is a way to help him revert back, if he remembers to tell whoever is around him, how to help him. You know what he looks like or would you like a better description? Or a doodle?
But if you want to use both Gelu and Ater I would like that, especially if you wanted to use both. And I'd love to use our worlds, I adapt quickly, though if we were in your world, you'd have to start it, vice versa for me.Β

Hoooo boy, if he gets offended easily, Ater is going to be very interesting indeed XD Eater probably won't like him very much lol. And pretty much you have to get both of them, it's never just one or the other. Given, they aren't joined at the hip, I just mean even if I use Gelu, Ater is mentioned/comes in at some point, and vice versa.
Gelu, on the other hand, you kind of know what she's like XD Very kind, but also has a lonely, melancholy side. (she represents my need to reach out and be playful, but is also the embodiment of the loneliness that comes with it, and the attempt to cover it up as well. Ater is my fears/depression, and mostly anger, frustration. The anti-social side of me and urge to be alone) ahuuuur if that makes any sense at all.
I would like a detailed description, if you don't mind :3 I can also give you detailed descriptions of Ater and Gelu too, if you needed it.
Well, my world can be very pretty, and very dangerous. So, if you don't mind battles to take place every now-and-again, Everdrown is for you. Unless Afterlore has some nasties too, if you've ever let them breach your world. (If you haven't, that is amazing, I can't keep Her out)
I have Webmouths, the Faceless, all manner of demons, any bad thing you can think of, really.
They like there human selves as well, they feel more free that way and able to express themselves more

Haha I don't mind if Eater gets offended. Eater is my angry side, but it's very restrained. I am a passive person, I get hurt and try not to hurt. Eater is me in that sense. My loyalty doesn't stop, I cannot be separated from the few people I am devoted to. I mean I can go days without them, but if they were to move I would make every effort to visit, to contact, etc. Illusion is my observant side, when I study situations to be able to act. It is my pride, my occasional holier-than-thou side. It is also my kind and understanding side. Thus four arms. Quiet is my hated side. I can't say much about that, but we see things that might be real.
Eater is a strange child. Oh really? Lol. His body is thin, starved looking. For the sake of the RP I'll give him more freedom, and his head won't be bandaged, just his shoulders, neck, and just above his navel (belly button lol). His arms also won't be broken, just tied tight against his chest, vertically, his fists reaching to his collarbone. Eater has dark olive skin (middle Eastern) with deep brown- almost black eyes. His eyes are almond shaped and the outer corners tilt upward ever so slightly. He is lanky and thin, his face more feminine than masculine, thinner eyebrows, thin lips. His nose is a celestial nose. (I actually have that lol. But I am all the way white.) Prominent cheekbones, slim jaw. He comes to about 4'3 standing straight up. He'd be around 15 years old max. Sixteen and he's gone out of his age range for a human, but you can choose, within about 9-15 (any younger he'll just be a burden but it's up to you). He also has a thin triangle seal on his forehead, hidden by his messy mop of hair. But here his head isn't tied, so you can see his chin length, unkept black hair. Often he wears low waisted pants, tattered and ripped. This time they're deep green, with black cuffs around his ankles. Bare feet :3 You'd be surprised how agile he is, without his arms. (He can also pick things up with his toes somewhat, like me.)
Everdrown sounds lovely, Β Eater wouldn't mind the fighting in Everdrown. He doesn't mind monsters, Afterlore has them too. I keep them mostly contained when I can manage, but Eater is willing to fight. He uses chains with blades attached to his cuffs on his ankles to fight. One per ankle. The holsters are on his thighs. He's very up to fighting, with boundless energy. You can describe them here or in the RP.
