I love a long dagger/dirk style short blade, but it's a decorative piece. Then I have a pretty massive Greatsword, two one handed swords, a katana and museum quality replica of the Heron Mark blade from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. All of those are high carbon steel blades that are battle ready, some more so than others, but looking to expand with some actual blacksmithing. ^__^

Depends on your idea of what a real sword is. Some people think the Asian gift store swords are real. Some people, like myself, a real sword is one that is battle ready. Full tang and made of good blade metal.
What's your definition of fake?

Any blade can break. Hell, I can break my high carbon steel blades against a tree if I wanted too. Though I know what you mean.

I usually suggest a NAID or such to people who want a wolfy looking dog, but cannot cater to a Wolfdog's needs. Great animals. ^__^
