It's a German word but I'm sure I mispronounce it because German I am not! I say it as "Lock-towb" ('towb' as in 'town' but with a 'b' instead!)

I looked on google translate, and, after adding a space, it said "lach taube" was, in fact, German, translating to "laugh deaf".
