Well the idea behind is giving an explanation to 'tale of man' as well as the cause of such tale. After all, 'all good intentions paved the way to hell' and yes my characters of Phoenix Chronicles are grey

And yes, they do use high tech equipment; but they do use low tech means to overcome obstacles. It's the reason why they are Elite of the Elite within the Elite Military

Since my characters from Phoenix Chronicles are commandos and high ranked members of the Elite Military, what would the cause of events that would bring them to the wolf kingdom?

Sure.
Well given to how they are highly elite warriors. I was thinking perhaps in my story they can be part of the kingdoms Royal Guard which counts as the army of the Kingdom. They are some of the most well talked and highly respected group that has earned its reputation at being the most loyal and most couragious of all guards.

hm... I can see it working, though be in mind that most of the Phoenix Commandos are humans (Alpha Team) while the other are anthros (Bravo Team) Though it would be very interesting idea, but perhaps (and this is where I think will be interesting to develop the world more) that they are infiltrators who are investigating a matter that resulted in the 'tale of man' that spread across the wolf kingdom and at a certain point in time reveal their true identity but not the nature of the mission.
in a sense, it gives more grey that while they indeed lied and perhaps done what would consider to be 'dishonorable' to the wolf kingdom. it is all part of getting to the truth of the matter; even if it means getting one's hand 'dirty'

Well one is in relation with General wolf. Her brother is second in command. The sentinel is a spirit user (like force powers) and the other is a android with combat measures x3
And indeed. Basically the idea was the reason for the wall and how not everything is as it seem on the surface. Even though my series is heavily based on military, there is also political topics as well as tackle very tough topics

Indeed, like I am sure the wall will have the spotlight later on. After all a wall is good to keep bandits out, but they can also hide secrets from within. All things are like a two side blade

Yes they are. And in fact there is more than one way to get past a wall and in fact later in my story you will discover how and that someone is trying to loot the kingdom from within and that some certain inviduals will plot against certain characters to be rid of them once and for all.

lets just say, they aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and say things that would be consider harsh though true. that and they are from different planets.
So basically a faction within the walls that I assume would rather have the wall destroy and go back to the old ways of being a pack
