Awesome! I usually go to BABSCon, which is in San Francisco. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so its the easiest one to get to. It's also one of the better ones, according to quite a few friends I know.

just always keep in mind there's no rush at all, take all the time you need to make each plush and work at whatever pace is best for you uwu  
besides that tho yea im excited!! ^^ ill just continue checking the list occasionally to see whats been going on uvu

i think twitter works tbh? You could mention to your commissioners that when it is their turn they can see WIPs via your twitter account!

Ive seen some artists actually attach their twitter to DA too, and their feed is on their profiles so people can see their WIPs there too

Well I'm not the one to ask about marketing on etsy haha. I don't get much traction on there right now. I think the key is probably having enough stock and posting your images elsewhere. (And I never have time to make enough stock ;( )
For pricing, it's really subjective. I personally charge materials and then what I want to make per hour, multiplied by how many hours I think a plush will take.
Some people undersell to get traction/followers and then steadily raise price up to where it should be.

Haha I mean I always take pictures of my plushies before I give them to people (if I give them to people) as a momento, so I wouldn't have to worry about that...
Hmm okay...... I tend to be pretty quick with how long it takes me to make plushies (oddly enough it takes me longer to use a machine than hand stitch for some stupid reason lol) so thankfully that wouldn't be too high...
I'd probably do that then... Since I've already had people tell me I should sell plushies/they'd "totally buy one from me", it's just a matter of getting a means to advertise and get payment set up...

That's alright! I get Minky cuddle 3 solids from fabric.com as well as theminkyboutique.com ! Both are great and have nearly all the colors available. It's near impossible to get solid, quality minky at shops like Joanns, definitely not enough to have all the colors I'd need.
