I would recommend having both the Sire and Dam to take inspiration from to try and get it look more like their offspring.
When you got the design done you're going to want to upload it to your sta.sh with the info found here: Import Information Template
Say when you are done and I'll give you the link you the design center where you will get your pup accepted or an admin will tell you what needs to be fixed. The reason I don't give you the link now is cuz the design center get's a new journal every now and then so I don't want to link you to the wrong one c:

Look at how other have done and you will probably understand how you are meant to do!
It can take anything from some hours to weeks to get your design approved but the group is big and they like we have a life outside of dA.
If they find something wrong with the import they will comment on the sta.sh file what needs to we fixed.

So, I'm working on making the Scarecrow Dragon as a custom monster. It's been years since my last game of D&D and I've never played 5th Edition. I used a Stat Block Template as a guide and went off of both the Scarecrow and Adult Red Dragon Templates but I changed some values and added in some things that weren't on either template.
