How kind of you to drop by~

This is the maelstrom of my mind. I'm not getting a ticket, so click it.

Rhyming verse has enchanted me for as long as I can remember. I kept my first diary at age five. I vividly remember picking out the little Lisa Frank lock-up, and using it as a means to express myself.

Wind the clock a bit, here. About six months before my thirteenth birthday, I started keeping a poetry journal. The tie-dyed cloth book, with a spine of cork, went everywhere with me.

I am in love with perfectly executed language--incurably enamored with snapback wit, smart as a whip. A well-crafted line, swoons my heart every time. High-flown language, while antique, is sophisticated, even classic, to me. You get the point--poetry is the one thing I can't live without. Ocarina, archery, video games, sewing? Love them all dearly. Take away my words, and what could I possibly have left?

I have a penchant for the abstract (impressionism and pointillism are my favorite techniques), and hold solid respect for photography and hyperrealism.

In a more recent frame of mind, I'm trying to cultivate my drawing ability. I use Microsoft Paint and keep two separate sketchbooks! My mother gave me with a tablet recently, and so my understanding of digital art programs is just beginning to flourish.
