# About me

HI, my name is Colin and have been interested in photography for over 5 years now

I started of whit a 0.3Mp PenCam, Nikon coolpix 2100, Fuji f11 and now I have a Panasonic Lumix 7Mp with 12x optical zoom.

I NOW have my Sony a350 YEAH!!!

Though I am in fact registered as blind or legally blind (as apposed to what? Being illegally blind?) anyway I digress.. I do have residual sight and hasn't stopped me from really enjoying taking pics and learning and discovering new and interesting way of taking shots.

In fact its because I have been using magnifying lenses nearly all through my life I find ironically that a camera and photography come quite easy to me as I rely on the use of a monocular; so a camera is like a electronic version of a low visual aide.

I'll even use a camera if I can't see or read some thing, take a pic of the sign or printed paper and use soon on he camera or computer.

My main genre is every day life, I like taking photos of things and people, more like a or a documentary photographer you could say.

I Don't really like posed shots, they look to unnatural and false, I much prefure The every day scenes and even enjoy taking pictures of the funny and bizarre.

I also have Aspergers syndrome so I can have a rather very literal imagination and humour to boot (sometimes intentionally seeing the literal and sometimes unfortunately not so intentional) so I also have a collection of wacky and funny signs or things that just cracked me up laughing.

Though a fair bit of my time has been taken up learning DJ mixing, mostly HardStyle and Old Skool but just like photography it does take soem practise and messing about untill that eureka moment! ;) (Wink)

No problem m8, soz for late reply, I've been practising on the decks, mixing HardStyle, Old Skool, Jungle and bit of Trance.

Got a better audio card now, so I can do skype casting for friends. may later set up a casting server if I get really good at it :P (Lick) I'm only a beginner atm lol

Yeah that's great I only started photography to get me out more, I don't use bebo much and I'm moving every thing over to FB but yeah I'd love to see you work and I will add you email you back and yes.. I have every shot I've ever taken lol I even the seconds and mugshots etc but it'll take some finding cos I can take 300 shots a session lol

I'll email you with more interesting, weird wacky events and photos to go with it lol

You still produce wonderful pictures even though you are registered as blind!
I know you arent actually completely blind (I did read your ID Hehe) I find this really amazing!

I haven't posted any new pics yet as its too cold and I hate the cold lol

But come this spring I'll be out there to all my favourite places and finding new and interesting ones.

TBH Im amazed at some of my pics and think to my self "I really can't believe I done that!"

Photography has been great at getting me out more then I would of done, I don't like crowds or new places, but I love talking pics to its been a usefull tool as well as an interest to get my out more, meet people and find nice places.

I'll add you to my watch list to, its nice to see other peoples with and gives me inspiration for my own :) (Smile)
