Sorry , Cinema 4D is very expensive unless you know someone else that has bought the program and has an extra copy. but if you want I would recommend "Bryce" It is free, and easy to learn and you can make some very cool pieces of art with it.

It's ok, I was asking because this piece was in OpenArtists (meant for programs that are open source(free)) Just wanted to see about that. (and btw, I prefer Blender )

It gets easier as you follow tutorials and get used to the hotkeys. Also the latest versions of Blender (latest one is 2.56) work on the interface to try and make it not so complicated. If you want a free point and click interface you do have options though. For example Anim8or (simple program, seems to have stopped all development in 2008 though) K-3d (a program that I personally see a lot of potential in, has been around for two years or so, however development is very slow (but not abandoned))
There are a few others but those are the two which stick out (for me at least)

Maybe you just need a tablet. (unless you allready have one, in that event, I suggest using Ramon's brushes in MyPaint, or downloading Gimp Paint Studio.)
