I think I didn't really get the whole sakura arc so now that thats over I'm kinda glad, I'm about to start episode 8.

I really like the characters they are fun and the action scenes are sick so I'm looking forward to completing it.

I think it was either ep 10 or 11 that I really liked and I believe you will to. Conclusion of the story is a little cliche but whatever. Not the strongest KyoAni anime in recent years but still a good one.

I liked it. The conclusion with Rin was nice and it was popular enough that it's getting a second season. I'll watch anything by KyoAni at this point so I'm not particularly picky. It's not like a watch much each season anyway.

Just finished Kyoukai no Kanata and I liked it, I feel like they rush the conclusion and last arc of the story but it was a good one I think what I like best about KyoAni is good characters and quality animation alot of which you don't see now days

Yeah I don't know why they completely disregarded the ending but it looks like this week's episode is gonna be another beach episode and Touka is making a reappearance. I still need to watch it though after class since I already dled it this morning.

Yeah I don't really get what Yuuta is doing, and him doing the narration makes it confusing if he even realizes anything or not. As for the next KyoAni thing I think it's another LN adaptation but I can't for the life of me remember it. It was revealed a few months ago though at some conference of theirs. I'm sure there's info around if you google.
And Kill la Kill was awesome. I watch it with Vin and Eric so we're all screaming in unison at awesome parts and getting hyped at the same time so it's pretty fun.
I have to work on my final project this weekend but I can't get my mind off of Dark Souls 2 coming out on Tuesday. It doesn't help that I have a bio presenation in lab that day too so I'll probably not get home until after 8. Wonder if there's a midnight release.

Dark Souls 2 is awesome. I've already gotten about 20 hours in it and I can't stop. I almost forgot to watch anime this week because of it. Finals week is gonna be killer.

And it's good that you have your room set up but still a pain that you have that commute. I probably won't be coming down for spring break though since I need to spend that time to find a job (and play Dark Souls). Also me Eric and Vin are doing a simultaneous Nuzlocke run in HGSS but I'm doing pretty good so far. 3 badges and no losses so far.

Fun fun on the tonsils part. Any game that requires heavy focus (like Dark Souls) would be a good thing probably unless pain medication makes it impossible to concentrate. Doing a Nuzlocke in a day/night cycle game is kinda difficult since I mostly play it at night before I go to bed, so I'm trying to make sure I can catch more things than zubat and rattata.
Well it's nothing but finals for me this week, and by week I mean Monday and Tuesday. Problem being I'm up at 6am both days because I have a 7:30am OChem and Bio final on each which will not be fun. At least I get a week and a half of spring break. I'll probably upload my digital photography final if you're interested though.

Well for better or worse I ended up picking up Mekaku City Actors since I'm seeing some threads about it but I'm not entirely sure what to make of the first episode. Guess I'll just give it the 3 ep rule and see what happens.
Also watched the 3rd Madoka movie again last night and it was even better the second time (especially with competent subs). Have you watched the series yet btw? I don't remember if you have or not, though I recommend it all the same. You could also watch the movies but the first 2 are just a retelling of the anime with the 3rd being a continuation of the plot (and a hell of a continuation it is).

And yeah I picked up MCA too but I'm with you the first episode though funny I didn't get much out of it. I recommend Nanana's Buried Treasure for something this season, I got a kick out of the first episode.

I'm still on the fence about Mekaku. I wasn't that impressed with the second episode but I've heard that the 4th is supposed to be the good one. Also I think it's the fourth that's based off of Kagerou Days (the one song of the series that I actually like) so I guess I'll stick around. Apparently most people's problem with it though is that it's copying Bakemonogatari a lot but since I haven't seen that I don't see it as much.

Oh its copying? I honestly thought it was by the same creators. It's style is he same in every sense of it there's no way there isn't someone from Bakemonogatari on that team. Haha but I love Bakemonogatari so it works out for me. Who cares if they copy something great

Oh it's still by Shaft and the director is still Shinbo so that's why, but Shinbo has a habit of not deviating from his camera angle/symbolism shenanigens. Though it's not just Shinbo, but a lot of SHAFT series I've seen (Hidamari Sketch, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Madoka, Mekaku) or have heard of (Bake, SZS, etc) are like that.

Yeah they accepted me I just have to attend orientation and some other events. It's about an hour and thirty minutes away not too bad but I'll probably try to find a job and live out there see how that goes.

I still don't even know what a "human sexuality" class would be about but I guess that's because I'm in nothing but science courses. Though that reminds me I got a chance to talk with my old guitar class TA and he said I can come in and practice with the class even though I'm not enrolled. Actually it's apparently the last time the course is being taught so it's all the better I do it now, so I'll be starting that on tuesday.

And I didn't know you were already accepted since your previous message was phrased weird, but congrats all the same. Not entirely sure what the school is like but it's probably going to be a big change in terms of academics and general living style, or at least that's how I felt when I moved to Corvallis from Bend.
And grades aren't always a deciding factor. I mean I got into OSU with pretty middling grades and even got a grant and scholarship from the school.

So it looks like Nanana is exactly what I wanted it to be so I'm really happy about that. Also I'm getting more successful at doodling to the point where I don't want to stop. Yeah I just watched ep 4 of Nanana and goddamn I had trouble keeping up at times. I THINK I have everything down now by the ending but still. One hell of an MC. Pacing could be a little better but I hear it's only 11 episodes long apparently?
I'm on the fence about Titanfall actually. Me, Eric and Vin have discussed getting it for 360 (though personally I would rather play on PC) if it drops in price as a thing to play together but at the same time while some of the mechanics are nice (wallrunning/jumping) the whole bot thing is a little offputting since they really should have just made them other players. It's only 6v6 as it is an then just piles AI players to make the maps not seem like barren wastelands. Also the guns aren't very interesting to me and that is admittedly the biggest reason I play shit like CoD.
Also I'm interested in your setup that you have at home as far as workspace goes. Think you could snap a pic for me and upload it?

So perhaps against my better judgment I've started watching this show called WIXOSS which is basically Black Rock Shooter meets Yugioh (aka the suffering of little girls due to supernatural shit caused by children's card games). The speculah generated by /a/ is pretty much what caught my attention but goddamn even if I don't know how to play the game just from knowing card games it's infuriating to watch characters bumble along, especially when there are heavy consequences from losing.

Honestly I can't tell yet. Five episodes in and we have revealed the true nature of the card game (which unfortunately was spoiled for me but whatever) but like I said it reminds me HEAVILY of Black Rock Shooter so I'll stick around for it. If only the characters weren't so retarded...
Also I was going through some old texts and realized we never got a chance to battle in X&Y. Any time you think you'd be up for that? It'd probably be a 3on3 since I don't have a team put together besides my Glaceon, Mawhile and Staraptor.
