I lived in Luxembourg until now But my dad's English and my mother is Greece, and technically I'm 1/8th Welsh because my great-grandma is from somewhere in Wales.
What are you doing in Manchester?

I think I'll move on to the next place not sure the UK is the place for me, and Luxembourg is too small, although I do love it.

Not full time or anything, i do whatever when i need money, but mostly just deciding what the hell to do with my life! Id love to get out of the UK too. Im thinking France, Switzerland, or a nordic country, Sweden/Norway/Finland or something. What about you?

I was thinking of moving to China, or even going as far as somewhere like New Zealand, or south America. My mind wanders.. I thought about doing a TEFL course and then travelling round and teaching English.

I moved because i was going nowhere in a small town in wales. There is no future there. Its a great place to grow up, in the countryside and everything, but you cant forge any kind of life there, well... Anyone with dreams has to get out anyway! Moving soon as im selling house and moving out of the big city. Not sure where il end up eventually, going to live with a friend further south for a bit until i decide really. China would be fantastic, such a mysterious country, the idea of just walking and walking for thousands of miles and finding nothing but small towns and mountains and just the... Argh China has always intrigued me, i cant explain it, its just something about the size and mystery of the place. And over a billion people to meet!

same here. I'm dying for a real culture shock, something to broaden my mind. China seems like another world, one I'd rather live in. Have you watched (I know this is a bit irrelevant but anyway) crouching tiger, hidden dragon? I find that film so beautiful. I also find Chinese faces so beautiful and the rice fields..
The language, Buddhism, it's all very appealing.
Why are you interested in going to northern Europe?

Crouching tiger hidden dragon was a really nice film. People criticized it for some reason, but i loved the cinematography. I feel the same about the rice fields, i just have an image of huge snowy peaks surrounded by low lying rice fields, and thats an insanely beautiful thing.

Northern Europe..... Im descended from there, my history and culture are there. Its the same with Germany, France, Switzerland, etc... Ive always loved the geography, history, culture and people of Northern Europe. Its unique to see so much variation in geography, culture etc... In such a small area as Northern Europe. I just like the idea of touring around the youth hostels, taking my cameras and just enjoying myself.

you should definitely do that have you ever been before?
Having lived right in the heart of Europe, I think I can judge that you'd feel quite welcome and enjoy it a lot. I used to see a lot of people roaming around on their own, with nothing but a camera, perfectly content on the cobbled streets If you're ever in Luxembourg (which a lot of people stop in for a day) let me know and I'll show you the nice parts. Trier is also nearby-where Marx lived- and Paris and Brussels are close-by by train. Anyway, I should sleep now. It was nice talking to you
