the women are both people i know. it's interesting that it reminds you of the orient . i think it could be the combination of red, beige and black on the fiure to the right . i like your work. you are able to use the paint in a similar manner that you use charcoal : it is very effective.

well, I been watching you artwork "two" again and I think the position of the woman on the right and that black background relate to something oriental...
thanks for your obsevation about my work. You are absolutaly right: I paint (but only with soft pastel) as I draw. I found a way of using colour and not loosing drawing.

you don't need to know anything about painting to comment on it. i find people sometimes have all these preconceptions when it comes to viewing paintings which shouldn't be the case because honest responses are the best!

did u ever try project on to canvas with ur yok and paint over or are u completely against that.tracing etc!

no i haven't and don't really want to. i've thought about maybe sikscreening onto canvas but it makes the whole thing less interesting if you know exactly what it will look like before you start. it would be good though if you were going for photorealism.

yeah but u dont have to make it photo realistic u could add ur own style to what u project then project something else and draw over parts of that then switch off yok and finish off bits then spray on it with spray paint then paint more then throw it in the air shhoot it scan it in to the computer colour it print it out eat it shit it out dry it on the line paint over it again stand on it rip it art yknow. but seriously u could do sum cool stuff with it
