Bi polar as in funny one second then horrifying the next. Long subject to get into, but deaths such as you listed are funny for it is the product of the weak losing their way in a society that prompts them to take what little they make as their life. When that life is shaken from little they have, they lose what they think is themselves and thus their purpose. The way of the weak is a funny subject in general.
