I haven't had the chance yet. I've read all of his Xanth books, and a few miscellaneous one-shots. Should the books be read in order, or does it matter?

Preferably in order. You could try the first novel 'On a Pale Horse' which can be made to stand alone if you don't want to take on all 7 books. Plus It'll help you get a feel of what the concept is all about.
It was originally 5 novels but it was very popular back then that Piers went on to extend 2 more.
I don't know if you'll ever find those novels. Good luck.

"Used to?" I think at your age you're referring to the updated version of the cartoon and not the 80's version.

The 80's cartoon, yep! See, my older brothers watched it in the 80's and they recorded the show. So when I was little, I watched the tapes with them that they recorded.

Oh, for a cementary backgrounds. Try google for pictures, and then use the filter effects on PS to make it UNphoto-like. Save and post it as background to your drawing.
