Wow, you are really good at what you do, DivineError. I got a few links to your art from CGTalk. I love the piece where you made glass windows with a "7". Do you know of a tutorial on how to make that kind of art? I love the caustics and soft shadows. I have Maya, and I reallllllly want to learn how do do that. Thanks!

Excellent work man, hey I noticed in one post that you were the man to talk to about Maya installation. I have 7 (which I'm hoping to upgrade to 2010 soon) how come it doesn't like OSX 10.6? I managed to install it via 10.4 and carry over the files but in the installation process its unwilling to provide the core files in 10.6. So odd, anyways god speed!

honestly we had so many issues with mac and maya in general that we switched all our macs over to run windows

I hear ya, though I've read that since 10.6.2 Maya 2010 has worked just fine. Of course it'll be a bit of time before I get around to purchasing that.

I almost had to kill a clown yesterday. It wasn't actually a clown, it was an artist doing a piece where they dressed up as an evil clown. But artists (especially ones trained at a uni) are always trying to have their art make an impression. If you're doing a cliche bad-clown, the only way to make an impression is to pull a gun out of your little box of rape and shoot people. I was ready for it if he did. I was secretly hoping he'd shoot this one guy who's girlfriend I like. Then I'd rush in and save the day. You ever notice that "rush in" sounds like Russian?
