wanted to put together real live art shows, but seemed easier to start them online at first then expand into live shows once there was enough people to take part. idea first came about from a conversation i had about how the good contests, shows and gatherings etc are always aimed at the US users and others are rejected for their country of residence. felt like a good way of uniting us all together as artists. plus shows are always fun once u've ironed out the kinks.

does that explain it a little better?

i'm doing a collection first on here (which exhists right now) then when i hav money for subs, there will be a journal css which all artists taking part would add to their page via either journal or custom box wiget. then after that if it was sucessful, discussions for live shows would begin, hopefully if there was enough of us by then we could split it by either state / county or nearest major city to each of the users. it could be anything from months to a year b4 any live shows go ahead as it all depends on how many take part. there are extra details in the comments section of my news article.
