i want to know is how deep you want to go into Halloween theme
for this is how i think about it 
my Halloween theme
1) Light Halloween: this is more like witches,spiders, evil fairy's. the stuff that doesn't scare kid's much
2) gray Halloween: this is where things get a little darker like vampire, gouls and lower class demons
3) black Halloween: the things that hide in the shadows, and more bloody monster
4) Nightmare Halloween: the creatures that are in the darkest parks of our soul those that we fear to even give a form to.where death is a new meaning.

2-3 range group Idea prompt: 
darkness hidden within the light. creatures who have stolen your sight. evil whisper come from behind. as they stalk you in your mind. they only come out on old hallow eve to create mischief and to deceives. they want your soul as if it's a bag of candy. so keep the pumpkins in your life to save your soul and your sight.

3-4 range single Idea Prompt:
He/she come out for the evil that's runs in the heart of those gone bad. feeding off the rage, fear and madness  that lives in human heart. to make those kill others, to get the sin that he/she need. never doing things them self, only standing in the shadows. commanding soul and lower class demons.

the reason i choose worded prompt is that it can help the imagination and to create your own image in your head.
the prompts were made by me you don't have to use them
also i hope you have more people helping you.
