I would definitely watch that video, but I think that a series of stills would also be nice as people could just kinda work at their own pace.

With a video you can still work at your own pace. I'd just be sharing what I know-- y'know, more of the fundamental stuff. I wouldn't make a "how to create a landscape" video where I'd want my audience to follow my moves step-by-step. Learning is more about the understanding instead of blindly copying brushstrokes without understanding the big 'why'. (:
