No two days are the same at the moment and each day contains a couple of sub-sets of weather conditions.
Have to keep a weather eye open as you just don't know what is coming next.

Me and the good lady did a 4 day 1000 mile bike ride from Scotland around North Wales over the Easter period. Great views, great time, great weather - took 2 snaps. That is the first 2 snaps since Jan this year. Jusst don't have the inspiration or inclination for it at the moment.

Sounds divine, weather warming up over there?? You did mention good weather silly me I have noticed you haven't been around much so I thought I would drop by and say hi. I know what you feel like! I dont want to pick up my camera at all but I have to for study and am now working as a photographer for H.I.W.G ( Honouring Indigenous War Graves ) I have another work op today Have to take in some of my work and they will decide if they want to hire me, I'm a little nervous. I also have my first exhibition coming up in June I have organised it and got some other people involved so have that to do as well but the energy is not there. The course is going well I have learnt a bit I like film but its pricey. I use to get excited about photography now it is all pressure, I'm not enjoying it anymore. I feel like its just a challange to over come, its breaking the bank which stresses me, I feel alot of stress to succeed for my family.

It was, a real pleasure, for a change. Tiz warming up nicely, 10 days so far of wonderful weather in the low 20's - most unusual for this time of year over here
Had a real crap year so far with lots of problems to sort out and it has been a bit of a drain. Enthusiam for most things has drained away and I can't be arsed with most stuff. But can see some light at the end of the tunnel and things will improve.
Sounds like a love-hate relationship with photography at the moment with work, exhibition, course work etc, but you have hungry mouths to feed. Learn to recognise, control and treat that pressure! It has a nasty habbit of creeping up and biting you in the bum - big style. Been there, done that, got the T shirt, read the book - the works. Be careful!
Yep, film is fun, but double the effort and, as you say, now pricey.

Sorry to hear you've had a crappy start to the year I can't say mine has been great but dont wont to bitch to much I'm sure the dreary winter weather didn't help with keeping up your spirits but I hope it wasn't anything really serious. Hope you and your loved ones are all healthy. Like you say there is always light at the end of the tunnel, when things are shitty i always know it cant stay like that forever, its just hard when you have to endure that dark period for a lengthy period of time. I have had alot of those times in my short life which make me feel like I've been around alot longer than I really have.

Yes very much a love hate relationship I think I just find being poor and having to start from the bottom a little disheartening. I'm also really hard on myself I think I expect myself to be producing top shelf work with limited experience and equipment. Went to a job interview yesterday looks like I'll be getting my first government contract yippee! and getting this $15,000 funding grant in to gear for a huge photography gig for the organisation I work for but we'll see its my first funding app so we will see how far I get with it but if it happens that should be pretty big for me and yes most proably very stressful I'll take your advice about dealing with that beast stress/pressure with everyting coimng up I will really need to take control and not fall apart seeing as I have alot of people counting on me I dont want to let anyone down including myself.

Unfortunately we did have some serious family issues to contend with which took quite a toll on both of us. However, most of the problems are now behind us and we are starting to look forward again – thank goodness – and therefore things are looking up and a bit more positive now.

Don’t get too disheartened about being poor and starting from the bottom. I, like most people, started my working life that way, but with grit and determination you slowly climb that long ladder and eventually reach the top. Nothing comes easy these days and you have to work dam hard if you wish to succeed, which I suspect you do? The trick is to learn to walk before you start to run so one small step at a time, no giant leaps. From the sounds of it things are moving in the right direction for you, and that is good, no great, news. A job, funding, stress, what more could you ask for. Just watch that last one – please! Some how Jayde I have little doubt you will let anybody down, including yourself. Grab the opportunity with both hands and walk, I am sure you will come out on top and learn a great deal on the way. I wish you all the success in the world
