I´ve almost finished the design for the 3D Milla. The model was built using Poser Pro 2012 (it is a fully customized morph). I´d love to know what do you think of her :P (Lick)

Looking good! Its hard to make a 3D model look like a 2D one, so the differences are probably as much technical as an aesthetic choice.

Some observations between the 2:

You may want to make the lips less full, in my 2D drawing the mouth is roughly the same size as the anime eyes. So in the 3D version, since the eyes are more realistically sized, the lips and nose would slightly smaller too. 2D Milla's eyes are almond shaped, more oval with a tilt at the tip (almost asian).

The tattoo on her hip has the large star without the colour placed at the top further away from the navel, the two smaller pink stars at the bottom. 2D milla is slightly perkier breasts, and marginally slimmer waist.

Yup, I´ll experiment a bit more with the proportions of the nose and mouth. I hope to have a finished .gif file (best way to feature multiple pin-ups) this friday (or maybe before :P (Lick) ).

Glad you found it useful, unfortunately I colour the linework almost as soon as I draw them... also I have been editing Milla's face many times over the years by painting over it (you'll notice her current lips and eyes have changed from the earlier posts from 2006), the newer poses that I draw seldom have her face drawn from scratch...
