# About me

I don't have much in my life that matters to me except the arts. I'm a musician, photographer, writer, and daydreamer. I'm aware of whatever 'ramifications' may come out of some of my work, and I am totally fine with them. My work is done entirely for me. If you happen to enjoy some part of it, then I smile. If you can't stand me or my work, I will still smile, because it's not about you. In other words, I don't give a fuck, but if you do have a kind comment for me, it is well appreciated. And just in case you think that showering me with compliments means I'll hook up with you...trust me, I'm not interested.

Favourite genre of music: gothic/punk rock/rock and roll/grunge, electronica/darkwave, classical piano, violin, and choir

Really now? I loved Shel Silverstein when I was a kid, I think one of my teachers had the book and I used to read it in class. I think it was what first got me interested in poetry. Before I met Poe and Ms. Dickinson, of course. :) (Smile)

I loved the illustrations as much as the poems! Half the time that I spent reading I also spent looking at the pictures. :D (Big Grin) Some of them were most ridiculous, it was just impossible not to love them!

I know, right? Shel Silverstien is an amazing fellow, I must admit. His drawings add hilarity to the poems. I still cannot understand why it was banned from elementary and middle schools in at least three, if not four states!

People are close-minded. I can't imagine what it would be banned for, I don't recall ever seeing anything in any of his books that was obscene or adult in any way, as to be harmful to the mind of a young child.
