# About me

I am an Artist living in the Design District of Miami starting to work full time on my craft. If you wish to contact me for information about a piece for price or availability, or if you'd like to talk about commissioning a piece please do not hesitate to email me at MLRosen1989@gmail.com

I graduated from the University of Miami May of 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Education; double majoring in Psychology and Human & Social Development. At Miami I received paid work for 2 years as the Staff cartoonist for the Miami Hurricane Newspaper with over 50 newspaper publications. I was also an illustrator and was published in a few magazines like, DISTRACTION and Palmer Trinity. For 2 summers during my undergraduate studies I worked at Island Lake Camp as the Cartooning Instructor and taught groups of children ages 7-16.

How'd you get started working with Polymer clay? It looks soooo sick! I am fascinated! Can you please give me some info on it whenever you have the chance- You seem RLY good, love ur stuff! :-D

Thanks! Most of my works are done with air dry clay. I only recently started trying out with polymer, to make some smaller figures. I prefer air dry clay, it is much more affordable

Thank you I needed to find a way to make some extra money and thought about doing figure sculpting workshops. I never worked with air dry clay before, just bought some and started sculpting. When I first started I wanted to do more conventional fantasy figures but I am not good at that, they always end up kind of strange looking.
You should buy some clay and experiment with it. Just start sculpting you will learn a lot during the progress. If you have questions feel free to ask them.
You do need to make an armature of iron tread and aluminium foil on with you can apply the clay.
I use "DAS"and "Premier" air dry clay.

lol, kind love the darkness you add to this collection, but its a little too dark in both envy and pride XD

but i tell you one thing. there was this one contest on tv to take photos/ painting of the most desterbing thing you can think of.

you could put all of these in a line up, and you would win XD

only problem is, they only had like 2 or 3 days to pull it off. i think it was closer to 2

Yeah, I def love dark. I don't know why I tend to prefer things with really dark overtones. I mean, you've seen my bathroom LOL It looks like a crime scene with monsters haha

lol, it was a new contest each week and people got droped off. and had to go home.
next top artist or somthing. streached you to the limits XD

just that one part of the contest was for the destribing aspect.
