Hallux, this kiddo . Cieplus/English isn't his native language, he speaks Intelixa Apparatus. He still speaks Cieplus extremely well, but his spelling is shitty because he never had to write it a lot. SO, he'll often end up writing some sort of mash-up of full Cieplus and Intelixa Cieplus, or just full Int-Cie (it's just Int-App using a specialized version of our alphabet). 
It went from "Miakerrl" to "Miukerel" to "Meeukerl". The last is accurate Int-Cie, he gave up on normal Cieplus. xD

Oooh, so it was that who donned Miakerrel with that name. Silly Hallux! Well, at least he has a reason for getting it wrong. If he didn't really practice his spelling with Cieplus, then why expect him to get it right? (At least he tries)

It's still a bit of a surprise he sucks at it because his dad can speak, read, and write Cieplus at a near native level. Granted, it's pretty much essential for his job, but you think he'd be pushing him to learn to write in it lmao.

He treats his family exactly the same as he normally would, and you can say he ignores the others to an extent; he's pretty introverted and usually doesn't seek out much social interaction unless necessary. He's not shy, just doesn't care. If there is a convo: as long as he isn't being rubbed the wrong way by the other person speaking, he won't be a giant asshole. He'll probs just come of as intimidating and cocky.
Unless it's one of his workers, he would probably yell at them and tell them to shut up. xD

Because Amfax is an egotistical douche. Not only he is a major slavedriver, he believes their entire purpose is to serve him in any way he wants. So he treats them like tools.
Yes. His dad tells him the same thing: He can't trust Hallux with the power he is capable of, and he must protect Hallux from others because he's incapable of doing so himself.
This is mostly because Amfax actually doesn't like children, seeing them as incompetent and unreliable. The former definitely isn't true in Hallux's case, but the latter two are.

Yes, Tales of Zestiria! I've been following the news since it was announced, I think it was officially announced a few weeks ago. I'm upset with the battle system change, but still. There's also have ToS Chronicles coming out in February, and then Tales of Xillia 2 over the summer. Oh sweet lord I can't asdfghjkl

Yes, incompetence is a reason. His distrust doesn't help. However, he fears for Hallux's safety more than anything. Hallux's mother Bladi is the CPU cooler (Fenxorlit), the strongest fan-type Mechanica out there. Amfax is a CPU (Xorpentruyit), literally the second-strongest person in the story's entire world. Hallux inherited half of each of their power, and their stability when combined is unknown. Amfax would rather see Hallux powerless than lose control.
Also, you now know some Intelixa Apparatus vocab. How does it feel to speak another language? xD

Oh yes, I'm excited. They made the battle system more in the vein of Kingdom Hearts and Lightning Returns, where it's over-the-shoulder and doesn't break screen. Compare to Tales of Xillia , and Tales of Vesperia. The change is pretty upsetting, I mean the Tales battle system is tons of fun and a series staple.
Well, he is an extreme guy. A very extreme guy. The workers pretty much learned quickly that as long as they just do as their told and not bother him, he won't bother them. Hopefully. xD
Hallux can't at all at the beginning of the story, he almost kills himself trying to defend himself from the Deepblue virus. Aven required that he use a limiter if he were to tag along with him and Kerrel. A limiter is a device that well, limits and/or controls one's powers lol; oddly, this also causes Hallux to change appearance when he fights. Limiters aren't made for Mechanica, so weird stuff like this happens. :I
If you're talking about story vocab, knowing all of it completely possible. If you're talking about the Intelixa Apparatus lexicon, that maaay be difficult. Gotta learn the Intelixa Cieplus alphabet to get pronunciation correct (and if you're up for a challenge, the actual Intelixa App alphabet)!
If you want a fun word though, here's "banbanyuhm". It's a popular snack in Intelapparata; one of the RAM sisters, Recall, is obsessed with them.

One of them will make the mistake of trying to make small talk with him. Getting on the boss's good side is not possible with Amfax. xD
When he activates the limiter to engage battle, his appearance turns from a 16 year old to that of a man around 22-24 years old. He is taller and more muscular, pretty intimidating (even though he is weaker in this form). He can barely manifest any of his Mechanica powers, only his basic weapons. This change is due to the limiter obviously suppressing his full power. However, due to the limiter not being meant for his race, it transforms him into more of a Systemian appearance. You can still kind of make out that he's a Mechanica, if you look closely.
Ah, okay. Well then, you can easily learn most of it. 8D
Yes, learning Intelixa App and Intelixa Cieplus are like learning any normal language. It's probably a bit easier, but still. Maybe it's just me, but the idea of a jibberish language in a story sounds really lazy. Yet again, I'm overly detailed and like conlangs. Biased?
Should've mentioned this: it's using the Intelixa Cieplus alphabet, so the pronunciation is a bit odd. Banbanyuhm is pronounced "BAN-BAN-yum". Intelixa Cieplus lesson time! The only reason there is an 'h' in banbanyuhm is because the letter 'u' alone is pronounced like a softer 'ah". If there was no 'h', it would be pronounced "BAN-BAN-yam". 8D
(To Mechanica, yes. Anyone aside from a Mechanica would probably upchuck it because the filling is a thermal paste mix. I guess it's sugary to them?
