Almost forgot! ...Almost lol. In a nutshell:

Currently King Wolfen, Curious, Croc, Wolfspider, North, Templeton and co. are in one of the outer realms of Hell. We were transported there along with Castle Wolfen itself, and we tried to stop Wolfor (my tyrannical father) from enacting his plan to come back to the world of the living and take over the Red Kingdom. We were mostly successful, though Wolfor has survived and is making a personal bid for freedom. Right now Scylla, a shapeshifting demon woman, just fought Wolfspider & Curious to a draw, mainly because she isn't actually evil and had no interest in fighting them to begin with. But from the looks of it the Crawling Chaos, a hideous monstrosity that was forcefully reverted back into the form of a child, is about to try attacking our group again. Seems like Scylla may do something about it.

Meanwhile in the living world... The sudden disappearance of the castle has left the Red Kingdom in a state of turmoil. Time flows differently in Hell, so what seems like only a few days for us there is actually several months here. The king is presumed dead, and many nobles are vying for supremacy, each seeking to succeed the Red King. It looks like the kingdom is on the verge of all-out civil war, so hopefully we can get back soon and set things right.

And that's about the gist of it. Hope that helps.

Oh, and you don't necessarily have to obsess over all the minutiae of the happenings in the CBC mythos. Why not just write a rough draft, and submit that while asking for their input? I'm sure Woilfspider & Asura would be happy to point out any contradictions or errors there might be. Then you could simply correct them and submit it once it's done.

I don't think my mother has ever actually appeared or been mentioned in the story so far, but I was under the impression that she died a long time ago. Wolfspider said that there's an unfortunate tendency in the royal family for the kings' wives to die at a young age. I know that was the case with my own wife, Queen Magnolia. All we know so far though is that her death is somehow connected to how I lost my eye, and that this event played a big part in making me compassionate, and averse to warfare.

Still, if nothing else you could write some epic flashback stories. Wolfspider and Asura are both writing side stories like these to supplement the main one.
