I just read it, and I actually didn't find it that terrible. If anything, I find it admirable that Naruto was so mature about their situation when Sasuke so wasn't. XD

I just feel like Kishi's trying to save his story by telling everyone Naruto and Sasuke are going to kill each other. No matter how much we dislike the story, we're going to want to see it even if we know it's going to disappoint.

Meh. I think Naruto's giving Sasuke too much credit, to be honest. I mean, it's clear that they're on par physically, but when it comes down to it the fact that Naruto isn't batshit insane is probably gonna tilt the scales in his favor. Clear head, and all that...

Nah, I don't think Naruto's a Sue. He found the answer he was looking for, and he accepted it. Now he knows what he has to do, so he's not torn anymore. He's acting like his usual straight forward self again. (Though it's been a while since we've seen him that way, which may be why it seems so strange. 
But yeah, I agree that Kishi's hard on the Kunoichis. Even Tsunade's been bitch-slapped, and she's Hokage. Ah well, there's still the Mizukage and Konan. I don't think anything's spoiled them yet... And as long as he doesn't defile Kushina, I'm all good.

No, Mizukage's the crazy redhead (Kishi seems to have a thing for redhead girls as of Shippuden...) from Mist Village, Konan is the bue haired chick who used to be Akastuki, but blew them off after Pein died and declared herself Team!Naruto, and Kushina is Naruto's mom. All are minor characters, so it makes sense why you wouldn't know them right away. XD
Though the cloud girls were kinda cool... And come to think of it, they haven't ruined Temari's image yet, either.

We'll know someday! Let's just be grateful these deaths have meaning and soul behind them! I hate when a popular character dies, they either down play it so that they can advance the story and deliver vengeance or droll out the scene so much it looses all meaning and you're begging for the story to move forward. One Piece really seems to have found that balance.

'Nods' Yeah, these deaths have been treated with proper respect. Especially with the way Luffy just shut down after Ace got killed, instead of gin all 'RAWR VENGEANCE!' on everybody right away. I found that more realistic, given how childish and innocent Luffy is.

I thought that's what would happen, but this...honestly caught me by surprise. It makes sense now that I look back on it. Luffy loved and adored his brother, the shock of him dying in his arms would be more than enough to put him into shock. I just hope he gets out of this soon. We really need to get the crew together. People are guessing he'll meet up with Sanji first since they might drop Ivankov back on his home island.

Same. I was really hoping Danzo would have just killed him in the end though, but I knew that wasn't going to happen. The whole backstory with Danzo just makes me remember how stupid the leaders of the village are. I mean think about it. They tell the people that the monster that destroyed their village and family is in the body of a child without offering him protection, they don't see the warning signs of psychopathy in the survivor of a massacre committed by his own brother, they listen to Kakashi to keep the Chuunin Exam going instead of listening to Anko (who was his F'ing student) who said this was all part of some big plan to kill everyone, Kakashi teaches Sasuke an assassination move even though the boy is clearly crazy, when said crazy kid tries to use said move on Naruto he doesn't report it, he just wags his fingers and say how disappointed he is, and lets not forget during the invasion Kakashi said not to wake up the ninjas who were unconscious in the arena so they can help out in the fight, but send a girl with no skills, a dog who can't fight, a guy who jumps at the chance of sacrificing himself, and the idiot who isn't even the star of his own comic save the day. How are these guys the strongest ninja village in the world again? Wow, that rant just came out of no where. Sorry again.

XD Ah, well, that's manga for you. And I can understand them wanting to send Naruto to face Gaara during the invasion, due to the powers of the bijuu and whatnot. And Sasuke was never self-sacrificial, he was always going on about surviving so he could have his revenge. I agree with most else of what you are saying, though.

I was actually referring to Shikamaru. When he was about to die he excepted it a little fast. I mean, I know he's a ninja but he's 12. I'd want to live a little longer than that.

Shikamaru? He's not suicidal either, but he is smart. He probably just realized that there was nothing more he could do at his current level, and knew that crying and freaking out about dying wouldn't change anything. He seems to be quite apathetic about things like that... Although, when it comes to his friends, it's clear how much it means to him to keep them alive.

True. You know, I never understood some things in Naruto. Like how these kids who just got out of the academy could be people several times their age and experience, just because they're main characters. I also never got why people liked Sakura over Ino, and call her a fangirl and a slut (seriously she's like 12) even though she didn't want to break up her friendship with Sakura over him and I think it was even hinted she didn't even like Sasuke, only fawning over him to get back at Sakura. Still it's just a theory, but something that always bugged me.

When did they beat older and more experienced fighter fresh from the academy? Zabuza? Kakashi took him down, and Naruto and Sasuke got torn apart trying to fight Haku, who was the same age as them. The chunin exam was pretty much everyone their own age as well, except for Orochimaru, who was plotting and wasn't interested in killing any of them. Then there was Gaara, who again pretty much handed Sasuke his ass on a platter before Naruto half killed himself fighting him.
As for me, I got the impression that Ino did like Sasuke, possibly longer then Sakura, but she didn't want to fight a friend over a boy, since Sakura was important to her. And Sakura pushing Ino away like that seemed to have a little to do with Sakura asserting herself to her friend. Personally, I didn't like it either, but I can understand how frustrated Sakura must have felt at being coddled by Ino, instead of having her confront her honestly. So since Ino wasn't going to take that step, Sakura took it for her.

I mean that the Konoha 11 was able to beat the Akatsuki. These guys are in their 30's, S-Ranked criminals, and have killed dozens if not hundreds of ninjas sent after them and they're beaten by teenagers?

XD Believe it or not, girls don't have any secret codes for handling one another. Really, it's more about someone's personality then their gender.
Yeah, the some members of the Konoha 11 did beat Akatsuki, but that was Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto after hellish training with three S-class ninjas themselves, not to mention the fact that Shikamaru, the only other one to beat an Akatsuki ninja, is a certified genius who had a serious grudge at the time.
