Yup, but I hope that someday I'll become at least "Professional" but not exactly the most "Popular".
I hear, popularity is nice at first, but then it gets annoying. People always trying to copy the bigger artists.
Art theft is crazy when an artist becomes popular. And not only that, everyone wants free art from them.
Yeah, its been a while since I've been really social on here. I usually just post the art and wait for comments to roll in or something.
But yeah, I've changed a lot since I left my old account too. My whole style switched up since then. I wanted better anatomy and stuff.
Honestly, I like my style now more than I ever did previously. I feel it also reflects my emotions and feelings much better than before.

True true. Popularity has it's good parts, but also the not-so-good parts. You got a good point there about art theft and copying, and requests too.(hell, who wouldn't like free stuffs. But when artists deal with bratty fans that are ungrateful, yeah it takes the love to draw away)
I do the same to be honest. I hardly comment anymore(and yet I expect comments pff such hypocrisy) but this place is pretty much.. dead. I miss the good old days when I was a foolish child and would always get in touch with buds :c
Sadly we all change. Good or bad, when I left my first account, I became more srs bns but still maintaining a friendly attitude with my close friends especially.
That's a good thing. I did notice the change and improvement even if I hardly, if ever, commented about it. Your drawings are more expressive and lively now c:

But I thankfully have stayed away from that so far! I am not ready for that yet.
Yeah, dA is losing some of its fire that it used to have back a few years ago.
But I will stick around here because they are bound to come back one day.
Even if dA is not as popular as it was before, its okay, I like it either way.
I may be more serious, but I still find enjoyment in a lot of the things I used to like back then.
I've been thinking of doing some fan art again because its been a while and...THE MEMORIES!
I every now and again will listen to music I liked back then just to have the memories come again.
Yeah, I thought that a lot of my artwork was lacking a lot of expression a few years ago so I practiced really hard.
Though, somewhere along the line I went from semi-realism to cartoon. But may have lost some watchers to that.
Indeed we do, and sometimes I get caught up in the day to day hustle and bustle of my personal life. It can be very exhausting.
I am once again looking for a job and with hope I will do well and be able to find work at somewhere decent in or around my town.
