TutorialsClub was created with a simple idea, to provide a place where people could find all the tutorials they would need and make it easy for them.
In our club you will find tutorials about just anything, from the usual digital painting to traditional, sketching, vectors, pixel art, but also crafts such as jewelry making, sword making and a lot more that I couldn't even list here without making the list look a lot longer.
If you need some information about a particular technique, we are the place to look at.

why would you decline my tutorial on how to tag submissions? it is more helpful to artists on this site than any tutorial focusing on the art itself. what more do they want than to get 10 times the amount of views for their work...that is what my tutorial was about. how astronomically short-sighted of you. change your group name please...it is misleading

Dear member.. The "Contributors" is the ones approving your tutorials and They are a high class artists & they are the only ones who can decide if your tutorial is good to be accepted or not. We don't want you to feel upset if your tutorial got rejected. Take it as encouragement to improve. Try doing your best when making a tutorial so it will be accepted & viewed by all the members here in the club.

what are you babbling on about? my tutorial was not an art tutorial...it was a marketing tutorial on how to generate views on this site for the artists. i am a marketing expert...not a visual artist.

A tutorial is art. Marketing is an art. Check the quality of your art, make sure it's submitted to the right folder. As a marketer, you should know this. Marketing takes on many aspects.

marketing is not an art. i don't know why you would say that. it is a process...much closer to a science and involves studying and learning systems. An art is inherent with the idea of freedom and subjectivity. marketing does not have that aspect and is restricted to objective means and ends. i'm not sure if it was submitted to the right folder..i will admit that. the quality speaks for itself. i have generated 5000 views for 8 pieces of work in 2 weeks. this is something that many artists on this site would very much like to achieve for themselves. you passed judgment on my submissions and i find it wanting. regardless, like a restaurant that simply does not provide good service or food...you just don't go back. i will take my business to a finer establishment.

I judged nothing. I simply saw the post and commented. Marketing does indeed have said freedom and subjectivity, well also incorporating the "sciences" of it. Just because you take a concrete approach to said art and make it simply a science does not mean it is not an art. Most things can be considered an art, as well as a science.

oranges could be blue if you dipped them in dye. the moon could be square if you took a giant chisel to it. as someone who has successfully campaigned on web based social networking platforms to reach tens of millions of people...i will re-iterate...marketing isn't really an art in the recognized sense of the word. if you want to have your own definition for art...go ahead. marketing may involve the marketer having freedom of choice but the process of getting information networked is an objectively-based system that follows certain guidelines and rules. i can't just decide that i am going to reach a million people with my information by carving a message into a tree. although creative..i must then have the image of the tree distributed along certain channels that are conducive to my message being received by a target audience. All of the parameters that go into maximizing that reception are objectively based and calculated in a mathematical and scientific way.
as i said..you can create your own definition for art. you can think of the creative aspects of marketing. it doesn't change what they really art inherently, you are simply lensing on the subject to understand in a personal way.
