I couldn't help it. The head is the right shape and the arms and hands are a typical pose for him. The heart bothered me since he doesn't have one but I figured that's the difference between you and him and is a great thing! Now if it expanded in size and the head changed a little it would have been The Grinch once the Whos got to him and he returned all their stuff.LOL!

I think part of why we're on here is that we see things differently and that's a good thing. What I like about your stuff is that it's simple and clean and beautiful taken at face value but it's also very suggestive and open to interpretation and imagination. The more I look at them the more of them appeal to me because of the lack of a 1,000 details. As a teacher I could very much picture using them in the classroom to spark imaginative writing excersises!
I'm hoping I never "get used to" the talent I see anywhere or anything else in life. It's so much more exciting that way!
Just think how short our conversation would have been if I hadn't mentioned it! I wouldn't have missed this for the world.

Sorry, not an art teacher. I worked with special needs kids from 3-6th gr just as a regular teacher. I love to give them pictures and see what they have to say either verbally or in writing. Your type of work is great for that because its so open ended and targets no specific age or cultural group. With some things there is already a preconception of what it should represent and the stories come out the same and it's a bore but with your stuff I could see it taking off in different directions based on abilities, backgrounds and gender. To me that's absolutely brilliant.
