Sometimes accounts are made on a childish whim, and when those people get older, they realize they no longer want to be known as 'pinkpixieluvr' or some such.
I think it might've been the same with me. Mathas is still a part of me, but is no longer my online persona. Most often these days I identify myself online as Farren. But with the name Mercyful-Fate (which I actually got from a song by Metallica), I can change my 'sona any time and not have to change my dA.
