Sam Simpson looked over at James with a cross look on her face. She needed to go on a date with him in order to see whether or not he was up to something. As she was walking towards the one man she hated the most at the moment, she was counting her blessings that school was now over and that the hallways were virtually empty. Sam walked over to James, who immediately got stars in his eyes when she came up to his locker.
“Sam! I was hoping I would get to see your beautiful face again,” James complimented, smiling a million-dollar smile at Sam, who rolled her eyes in response.
“Listen…I’ll take you up on your date offer---"
“You will!? Really!?” James nearly bellowed out, looking at Sam with bugged-out eyes and his jaw wide open. Sam sighed in annoyance before nodding.
