Hi Allan, thanks for faving the "Bleak House..." photograph. Perhaps not my favourite submission and certainly not the cheeriest landscape I've captured but I did like recreating the effect of an old vintage post card. I clearly remember equally unwelcoming views on cards, with slightly distorted colour tones and browned edges, outside seaside shops when I was a kid...

Stay safe. Here in New Zealand we are coming to the end of a 4 week lock down, and things are look good. Here is hoping it all was for the best.

We might be hiding from nature currently but its beautiful face is beginning
to show itself after the gloom of winter, at least in the northern hemisphere
