May I suggest reading the books "Eon" and "A Fire Upon The Deep" by Greg Bear andΒ Vernor VingeΒ respectively? I think you'd have a lot of fun with them.Β

I'm lovin Jack Mc Devitt's Precilla Hutchins series at the moment. The guy rocks. I am usually a slow pony but have read nearly 2 of his books in a space of a month. You should check him out.
