# About me
I was born and raised in Sacramento CA, with Sacramento definitely being a melting pot and a very eclectic city I was always exposed to many different types of art. This has stuck with me as I have grown up, experamenting with pencil, charcoal, Oils, Spray paint and many other mediums and I have now ended up consentrating on body art and Modern Abstract wall art.
I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada and from time to time I end up on the strip, which any Las Vegas local will tell you is something you try to avoid at all costs. It was a friend from back home in Sacramento that was visiting town for his Birthday and we went to dinner in the Miracle Mile shops in Planet Hollywood and after dinner we walked around the shops. Not to long after walking around I decided to check out the Wieland Gallery, if you are not familiar with this artists work it is mainly sea life paintings and sculptures that are purely amazing. I caught a glimpse of an Abstract Metal wall art piece and I was stuck examining it and looking at all the techniques used in the piece and I had the hardest time not pulling it off the wall to examine the reverse side of this amazing piece of art and when the Gallery manager and I got to talking about these amazing pieces and he informed me that this 4’x8’ piece of art was tagged at $12,000 I was in utter shock. Now don’t get me wrong I know the art world and I know that a ton of that premium is for the signature in the bottom right corner but WOW…
Shortly after returning home I started to think about the possibilities with this type of art and I was convinced that I could figure this out. I have always been an artistic person and enjoy making things with my hands so Grinder in hand and metal on the bench it was time to make some sparks fly. Using different grinding techniques and using trial and error as a way to figure out the painting methods needed to make these pieces dance as you walk by I have found the match. Now I am producing these custom pieces at an affordable price so everyone can own a piece of eye catching art that you are sure to never see in another household because every piece is custom and can not be duplicated.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding any of the art posted or if you have questions about a future order.
Thanks for stopping by and remember, Its All In The Grind!
