Wanted to let you know – THAAAANK YOU!!! I enjoyed a LOT of Chex Mix over the past days. Customs had it opened and checked because they couldn't scan through the tin box. lol.
So it was a little delayed. But DELICIOUS! Love it!!!

It is a fun game that is similar to chess. Othello the play is also one of my favorites from Shakespeare, that and Taming the Shrew!

I had a class in both High School and college. The only unfortunate thing was that the college course repeated some of the plays from high school. I did enjoy both classes but my favorite was the Epic Poetry class I took in college!

Oh, yeah. But at least you'd sound smart if you understood something the class didn't, right? xD Epic poetry? What all did you read? My freshmen English class read The Odyssey, but we didn't finish the end (finished the movie instead; my teacher couldn't stand it). I actually kind of liked it.

Wow you have some really good teachers in high school then, introducing you to all this amazing literature!! In my Epic Poetry class we read the Iliad, Beowulf, and Dante's Divine Comedy (Inferno, Purgatorio, & Paradiso). The Divine Comedy was my absolute favorite! We were suppose to read the Odyssey but there were too many discussions and we ran out of time, but I have it in my to read pile at home!

Yeah, I've had some pretty sweet high school English teachers. Well, last year my teacher was pretty crappy. But the other years they were good. Though one actually has his major in history and his minor in English...figure that one out for me. xD
Haha! I feel like my to read pile is never ending. D: Seriously. I got four books for Christmas, so I started with one that I knew my mom and dad also wanted to read (it's from the Percy Jackson series, if you've ever read that?). I finished it, and decided I should re-read the PJ series, so I'm on book 3 of that, but I still have another book I got from my parents, two books I got from one friend that are in a series, and one book I happened to get called Incarceron that was so shiny and looked interesting and I've had my eye on it for a while. Not to mention the inevitable English books I have to read. T-T Not fair! D;

I understand entirely about the never ending list of books to read! I recently went through my bookshelves and made a stack of the books I haven't read yet and it came up to around 90 and I keep adding to it! I already have my 100 books for this year lined up so I guess next year my goal will be to read at least half that stack!
I haven't read the PJ series yet, or even the Harry Potter. Have you read Graceling & Fire by Kristin Cashore? Those are in my top 10 favorites of all the books I have ever read!

Yeah, they're two of my faves. Percy Jackson is amazingly good. There are 5 books in the series, and then there's ANOTHER series that's just started that has new characters (with the characters from the last series making appearances) in the same world. It's so good. D;

When I graduate I plan on majoring in English, and I'm HOPING I can take a class in Greek mythology, because it's great to have that kind of thing for allusions and such (I want to be a writer). But I'm going to a Christian school, so you can see why I'm not sure if they'll have it. xD
