Question: I would like to submit falconry, however you mention that pro-hunt things are not allowed. Falconry is hunting with a bird of prey; the bird hunts like it would in the wild, you just act like a "hunting dog" and flush quarry, making it easier for the bird.
Although it is not hunting with gun or bow and arrow or something similar, it is still considered legally to be hunting, therefor I must ask.

For this group no forms of hunting or "use of animals for hunting" is allowed.
This is really a supportive group and therefore I would like to keep it peaceful.
The only forms of hunting that are allowed as in "photo wise", would be animals
that are wild and hunt on wild animals like this => fuzzyundertones.files.wordpres⦠.

I mean, the bird is still wild in the technical sense because it will be trapped from the wild and released back into the wild at the end of the season. I just help it hone its skills and become a better hunter.

Falconry is a bit different than that. In the USA at least. You can buy a bird from a breeder; my sponsor buys his birds from a breeder because he likes to fly birds like goshawks. But most of us just borrow our birds from the wild for a little bit. I'll be trapping a juvenile red tail or harris hawk, and then releasing it next year. We take juvenile birds because they can't be bred and generally need some help in their lives (90% of raptors don't make it through the first year). During the time spent with me, the bird will be honing its hunting skills and once it is released, it'll be a better hunter and raise better hunters.

Donation projects
The donation projects are a way to contribute to wildlife and animals in need by the methods of working together in the DA community to raise the amount needed. These projects goes as following: in return for a small drawing of your own personal character, the money gained will be used to support the project that's going on. This project began with the "Red wolf army (http:Β

So far I have always picked out endangered animals (red wolf, clouded leopard) and I
will draw small chibi's in return for money that will eventually be donated to the animal,
organizations that care for the protection of these animals. People on deviantart have 2
ways to help out, they can order a chibi with points or with paypal, in return the'll receive
a little chibi artwork on the main picture. A second way for thos who cannot pay or order
anything is to share the journal around
help out without having to spend lots of money on their own (seeing not all people can
afford donating lots of money). By working together these donations have been a succes.
The current idea next time is, to sum up a list of different wild and endangered animals,to
make a poll and have people choose in which animal the project would be next. This way I
can involve the people even more

I don't know atm, I usually keep some time between projects since they do consume a lot of time for me to
draw it all, and next to that I don't want to do project after project because it would feel like i'm asking to
much of people ;w; so I usually wait a bit and then when I think the time is right I start the next project ^^

I dunno, it's not like I draw an abundance of them, but why is there no insect or bug folder? I mean, I know they're not as typically as fabulous as the rest of the members of the animal kingdom, but they're still animals. Or like, what about slugs? They're not always very especially aquatic.
It's just like, they're not as "cool" as other animals, but insects and bugs and slugs and snails are still valuable members of the environment. It would be cool if they had a folder.

I discussed this with my friend before making this group I asked
for such a folder but the issue is that not many people draw
them ^^' the folder would be added if people who had insect
characters would contact us and ask us if they can post them
but not many people have oc's or art of insects so I was kind of
waiting for someone to ask, as long as we don't have people
who would love to submit is a folder is of not much use!Β
So if you have insect characters then a folder will be added
And if your talking about their classification insects belong to theΒ invertebrates
So if a folder would be added it would be in thatΒ classification.Β
