well, I felt there was far to much 'nit picking' done on artist's, I understand critique but some people where just plain rude and mean about it.
I also felt there was a awful lot of favoritism going on, when a certain artist's work came up, even if it was not qualified for the folder it was accepted... I just felt people need to realize that not every one does art the way they do, and there is more then one way to make 'sweet equine art' if you look through the folders(featured, advanced, intermediate)you'll see one really big trend and you'll notice that a lot of the images look the same as in how the manes/tails are done and the way the horses are painted/smudged it just seemed that there was one type of art the judges liked and that was the only type accepted. So I just felt it best to leave the group.

I see what you mean.. It's a little hard to keep everybody listening to the rules, since we don't have tons of members at this moment, and to be able to have that sort of control and respect takes time (:
