Have you got the December Lego Magazine? And the last Bionicle comic with it? It's no longer using all 6 of the Toa Mata/Nuva; it blatantly says Tahu is the hero. And over TAKANUVA, too?! If ANY one toa is the hero, it would make sense for it to be the toa of light!

That doesn't really count as the '2010 story'. It's only the first little bit. I think it was a good idea. Since Brutaka made the prophecy about The Shattering and "the three that must be one, the two that must make them one", this was a good reveal.
Since the matoran universe is inside Makuta's body, I thought it was a cool way to bring the rahkshi and other villains over to Bara Magna.
And they can't keep making Takanuva the chosen one... He was chosen as the Chronicler to save the villages during the bohrok invasion, he was chosen as Toa of Light to beat Makuta, he was chosen to protect Metru-Nui from Icarax during Voya/Mahri Nui, he was chosen to find and use the giant sundial to locate the Codrex, and he was destined to save the Av-toran.

I'm still pissed. Do you remember the famous line from the first year, 'Six heroes, one destiny'? This is hypocritical and self-blasphemous. The fact that there was no ONE hero was one of the major attractions of it to me. Now... it's a sellout.

Well, they did share a common destiny: their 'one destiny' was to awaken Mata Nui. Oh, and GregF said that the stuff we hear about the Stars from the commercial isn't going to be story-accurate, so I think that ACTUALLY, anyone can wear the golden suit. I dunno. Just have to wait and see how it plays out. Don't give up on it yet!

2 things; first, you sent that message twice. Second, I haven't seen the commercial. I'm going by what they've printed in the last Bionicle comic book, and I quote;"But only Toa Tahu, clad in the mysterious golden armor, can hope to defeat the forces of darkness!", as well as the fact that on the back of every one of the Stars, it shows Tahu wearing the golden armor.
Ps. I have Tahu and Takanuva already. I really don't like the design.

I agree, it is a slightly disappointing story. I don't like that Tahu gets to be the hero in the golden armor, but I'd still like to wait and see the official story from Greg Farshtey...Knowing him, he'll be able to salvage it a little bit.
