It is no problem... I actually want to learn how to get into pinups, starting out as a hobby. Where should I start? Anatomy? or is there something before that? All of your work is stunning and so detailed. Your help would be greatly appreciated

before learning anatomy, learn how your equipment works. every sheet of paper works differently with your pencils,so try all the paper you can get, and see how they will work with your style. I tried over 50 different papers until I found my perfect one. Then ask different kind of artists about their drawings, how they do them...even try to copy them, and then take from each style something into yours. And after some exercises, learn anatomy and shading...then the fun can begin

Thanks for forcing me to finally use the watch feature here No really, looking forward to seeing you improve. I'll be happy to help when I can, and hope you'll find stuff you like in my slowly growing 'pollo as well.
I gotta ask though, do you have a aphro in real life?

Awesome, I did wonder about the ID for a moment, love it by the way.
I guess as long as I'm shooting Q's already;
Is your major art/3D graphic related? or are you just doing this more as a hobby?
To be fair, I wanted a degree in 3D animation, but finances wouldn't allow. So I'm teaching myself, starting back with 2D, in hopes of one day getting hired in the field without the fancy paper slip. Thus my name "toward"-skill.

Yeah, I am majoring in Graphic Design, but I haven't gotten to the 'art' classes yet... I was introduced to the magic of open source a few months ago and haven't looked back since. ~Cedjr007 (my boyfriend ) is getting his degree in 3D animation @ Full Sail Uni and it is EXPENSIVE. I am taking his classes with him for free (cause they're online) xcept instead of Maya 2011 I have Blender 2.56 and instead of Photoshop I have GIMP. That system works to a certain xtent
I am trying out 3d art an so far I like it... I am, though, trying to go back and relearn the basics of traditional art as well
Usually with a art or design "job" the papers don matter... most people look at the portfolio. a degree is jus a nice touch lol

Cool, so he's probably really BUSY as well. I was looking at Full Sail as one of two possible schools in my senior year, they looked like they really push their students.
Yep, I know that the 'pollo is queen in getting a job, right behind the ever present king of "friendship" aka: knowing/impressing the right people.
best of luck to you both, make sure he posts up some of his projects too, would be fun to see side by side projects of the two of you in blender and maya!
