I got a bunch of characters, a mix of soldiers, adventurers, monster-hunters, sky pirates/privateers, scientists and nation leaders. It's strictly a written project for me, as I got zero artistic talent. 

Anyway, the main story, or rather what is essentially "history-in-the-making" kinds of events for that world, is about three continent spanning Empires that were once unified under a single one, and are about to duke it out for domination, essentially because far too many people still blame the splintering of The Old Empire (TM) five decades prior for all the modern world's problems and assume everything would be so much better if only they could re-unify the neighborhood. It's basically a Romance Of The Three Kingdoms type scenario with flying  battleships, airplanes, automatic weapons and secret societies galore, among other things. 

The stories I'm working on would be more-or-less related to this main conflict. Main one so far looks like it's going to be about a crew of sky privateers getting their hands on an Ancient weapon everybody's interested in. Probably. 

BTW, couldn't help notice your avatar that seems to be a modified Vault Boy. So I'd assume you're into Fallout? Can you believe I basically just discovered it, like two months ago? I'm midway through Fallout 3, and started new Vegas, and so far, I'm loving it! (Got Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics too, thank you Steam Summer Sale!)

Yeah although I don't have much Fallout art, it is one of my favourite series. I started with New Vegas though initially didn't think much of if until I started reading the lore and modding the game. Now it's my favourite as I could never get into Fallout. And Fallout 4, while having better gameplay and exploration/looting, is not as well handled in terms of story and RPG elements. I made a NCR Ranger cosplay too, which I use for conventions every so often.

If the concept does interest you, just to specify, they're solid, armored ships flying via magitech/ applied phlebotinum,  like those in artworks  done by deviants like amarynceus.deviantart.com/ , mikedoscher.deviantart.com/ ,and  aoiwaffle0608.deviantart.com/  

I'll be putting up some World Building notes and information here and elsewhere pretty soon. 

As for Fallout, yeah, Fallout New Vagas is pretty much my favorite too, but I like some of the simplicity and straightforwardness of Fallout 3. As for Fallout 4, what I've been hearing about it so far has been fairly mixed. Might check it out all the same, probably when I'm in a better financial situation.

Yeah I love some of Mike Doscher's moody turn of the century space ships! When I first put the Alnair scenario together I toyed with similar things, and big mechs too, but gradually ended up making the human side of things more grounded in reality.

Fallout 4 is not a bad game though. I give it a solid 8/10 as the open world, graphics and gameplay are great. The key theme is the synths and ethics of technology, but sadly the writing is sometimes clumsy and doesn't give you enough choices to deal with the main factions.

I toyed with adding Mechs too. They can be done in a dieselpunk or steampunk setting, but then it becomes all too easy for the story to becomes more about the mechs than anything else, especially when you're a gundam fan as I am, so I decided against it. Flying ships are going nowhere though. 

As for fallout 4, yeah, the writing is one of the problems I've heard the most about.

Hi, unfortunately I don't have the PDOs of any of those on my computer. But I do know that the Impa model is made by Ninjatoes - who almost certainly still has the files somewhere.
