Well, it was a different world back then: I used a whole lot of Amiga software on the Labyrinth, including Imagine (for 3D rendering), The Art Department (for image processing), and Deluxe Paint and TV Paint (for 2D painting). Of those, only TV Paint still exists.

We compiled the animation files with custom software that we later turned into a commercial application called Magic Lantern.

But none of those would be viable today unless you were working on an updated Amiga or an emulator, which probably wouldn't make much sense.

This may be insulting- how much would you charge for me to use your image on a coffee mug for personal use?
I have the "back off im doing science t shirt" but as a university professor really cant wear it to work.Β  But id love to have a large mug with that and another with grumpy visionary.

Many people would love these but mugs are our main expression

I suspect you might find robot artwork from game Fallout 3,4 come close, although story line is roughly 60's.

YouTube has game play in realtime, is quite amazing.
The player has access to wrist controller & tracking device is very cool.
The floating robot that follows player, darn cool.

Today was such a lottery shot win as to how I discovered the site _
thrilling-tales.webomator.com/…

The T-shirt that's available you have on the site is a must have.

I think that your retro-modern style [botched term I know] is just great. I truly vivid recapture of the 1930s stylized SciFi art and ideas updated with a grand sense of humor.
Okay so what about your death ray?

Hello there. I first heard of your work from playing the Labyrinth of Time,Β  provided by GOG.com. I'm a die-hard P+C Adventure/Puzzle game player, and I take inspiration from those games to design artwork and stories of my own, many of which is in my gallery.
I'm well interested in what your main website has in store, and I'm even willing to buy something there eventually. Your art is well worth a Watch. Keep up the good work! (And maybe someday New Worlds Development will be a reality! Jk)
PS: I've even thought of designing my own indie puzzle game, which is set in the universe of Myst, but I'll need a team of helpers first. It's a long term goal.

Hi Bradley - this book is supposed to be published today in the UK:

www.amazon.co.uk/Dieselpunk-Re…

I'm in it, and I owe that directly to the fantastical and inspired journey into typography, retro, pulps, weirdness and righteous graphic design which your work has led me on over the last year or so.Β  Hope you are keeping well!

Pure joy and giddiness over your subject matter and the beautiful way – the absolutely incredible way – you frame it and render it. Thank you so much for sharing these gifts with us!

Your combination of Art Deco and Celtic design is possibly the best sort of mash-up I have ever seen and I don't know how I've never seen it before. Mr. Schenck, I bounced around your site a while and decided I had to have a book! I'm not sure who the company is that's printing them, but when I went to pay for it, the last page went white and eventually timed out (twice).
Might you have another option or suggestion for a print book?

Just as a friendly suggestion, I run an ebook publishing company. It'd sure be nice to have those web comics in an interactive PDF...
