♥ Who Am I?

I am Becky Hayes, owner of Becky's Digital Stuff. I am a photographer and self-taught graphic artist originally from Nansemond County and Suffolk, Virginia. I currently reside in rural Southampton County near Courtland and Franklin, VA. I attended Chuckatuck and John Yeates High Schools. After working for the U.S. Federal Government for 25 years, and private industry for 16 years, I retired in 2010. Of course, I'm not retired from the e-commerce world!

♥ Do I Sell My Digital Downloads Anywhere Else?

Yes. I am a stock photographer with AgeFotostock and Shutterstock. People worldwide have purchased my photos. I used to sell photography, crafts, antiques, and gifts in a store in Courtland, VA which I called Doohickeys. After closing the store in July 2011, I continued with my website, www.BeckyHayes.com.

♥ Where Am I Located?

My website, blog, graphics, and crafts are designed in my home office and craft studio in a converted schoolhouse (Handsom Elementary School) in rural Southampton County, VA.

♥ How Did I Get Interested in This Type of Work?

♥ Photography

I became interested in photography while attending college. When digital cameras came out, I felt like I had struck gold - I could finally afford to take as many photos as I wanted!

♥ Graphics

I became interested in graphics when I downloaded a free trial of PaintShop Pro (PSP). When I saw my first kaleidoscope that I made from a photo of a co-worker, I knew I had found my calling!

Since numerous customers enjoy the “weird” graphics I make, I decided to give them their own names:

♥ PhotoArt - graphics made from photos and color combinations.

♥ FractalArt - fractal graphics made using a computer program called Chaoscope.
