Oh gosh, that’s so true. My first digital piece was in 2016 and it sucked, really, really sucked. I’ve been doing this for a few years now and this is the first year I’ve really gotten my foot through the door. It really helps if you have good programs and devices…and lots of patience. What have you tried practicing with?

That’s a good way to think about it, but you have to respect they’re different platforms and require different looks on it. Try looking at some really good artist and study how they use their brushes and their techniques, that probably helped the most out of everything.
