thanx for the welcome! the problem with the sketching is that it takes so long compared to other mediums-ofcourse its worth it but one must be quite inspired to sit for hours and hours to finish one. i would love to try digital art next- i see all the beautiful works out there and it makes me want to give it a whirl!

i dont actually knowmuch about digital artwork; what is SAI? and when you use photoshop do you use a tablet to draw directly onto the computer? i need to work out which program might work best for me. i wish we had sketching classes around here, dont you find it keeps you interacting and interesting!
